Hey everyone! :)

I am Gwenneth, a Hearthstone player for the team LowLandLions, from the Netherlands, with multiple legend finishes. It's been a while after the post of my Dragonlock deck, but now I'm back to share my new Djinni Dragon deck with you, after I got legend with it!

You might think it's kind of a standard Dragon Priest deck, but if you look closely, you'll see that Djinni of Zephyrs is in it, which makes the deck so much better and so much more fun to play in my opinion ^^

Currently I'm quite busy but If you'd like to see me stream this deck or other decks in the future, make sure to follow my stream :D

Below this is a guide of this deck about how to mulligan and with a few tips and tricks, mostly about what you can do with the amazing Djinni of Zephyrs

Legend Proof with this deck:

Mulligan:

Cards you almost want to keep in every match are:

Twilight Whelp

Northshire Cleric

Wyrmrest Agent

Dark Cultist

Twilight Guardian

Cards you can keep in your hand when you have other specific cards in hand already:

Power Word: Shield If you already got a Twilight Whelp or Northshire Cleric in hand.

Dragonkin Sorcerer You can keep this card if you already have an early drop in your hand.

Velen's Chosen It's almost the same case for this card. I'd keep this card if I got 2- 1,2 drops already

Tips and Tricks:

Tips:

Never play a Twilight Whelp in the early game, mid game or late game, if you don't have another dragon in your hand. Some people say you can play it as a 2-1 body in turn 1 for example, but then you have the chance to not get the buff on your Wyrmrest Agent or other cards that benefit from a dragon in the mid-game or later.

If it's mid or late game, try to keep your your Power word shield for Djinni of Zephyrs or even for Chromaggus for turn 9

[card]Why is Djinni of Zephyrs sooo good in this deck :D, what tricks can you do with him and why would you play him in Dragon Priest and not in another type of Priest:[/card]

First of all, I replaced my Azure Drakes for this card. Yes, Azure Drake is a Dragon, so I removed 2 dragons for two other cards in my deck. But I removed my Blackwing Technician and replaced it with a Dragonkin Sorcerer that works amazingly well with Djinni of Zephyrs too. So I only lost 1 dragon in total, so I still have a total of 7 dragons in the deck!

The bad part about Azure Drake was, that he wasn't sticky at all, because of his 4 health. So normally you wouldn't really benefit from his spellpower effect. Even when you could, it would be one turn before Lightbomb, which would kill your own Azure Drake, which always felt really clunky.

Djinni of Zephyrs is a 4-6 which means that you only miss one attacking stat point, to make it an ultimate drop statwise. And his 6 health makes him really sticky! And he won't get killed by lightbomb as well. So even if you wouldn't be able to use his awesome effect, he's still a good minion for this deck.

But... :D What if you can actually use his awesome effect, what tricks can you do with it, and what do they actually do?

Imagine you play Djinni of Zephyrs in turn 6 and you have something like a Twilight Guardian on the battlefield, and you use Power Word: Shield on the Twilight Guardian, you'll get 4 health in total divided over 2 minions! That's amazing, but wait! That's not the only thing it does :D It will also give you an extra card, because the whole spell gets copied on him. So 4 health and 2 cards :O ^.^

Imagine you play Djinni of Zephyrs in turn 5: Then you can play a Dark Cultist next turn for example and use Velen's Chosen on the Dark Cultist and you'll get a 5-8 and a 6-10!! And... :) You'll even get spell power plus 2 because the spell power effect also gets copied :D And your Djinni of Zephyrs will be exactly out of Big Game Hunter range!! He'll also be able to one shot something like a Mysterious Challenger in some cases ^.^ How awesome is that!!

The final combo, and  the most amazing one I'm gonna tell ya is when you have have a Djinni of Zephyrs on the battlefield in turn 9 and you play Chromaggus, with a Power Word: Shield on it :D You'll actually draw 4 cards and gain 4 health for 1 mana by doing this :D How amazing, right? =)

Finally, Why would you play Djinni of Zephyrs in a Dragon Priest deck and not in a regular control type of Priest?

Well, that question can be answered easily. Dragon Priest has lots of powerful minions in it, which means you have a lot of tempo, so you can snowball your board control even further with a card like Djinni of Zephyrs, also the more minions you have in your deck, the more minions you can buff, so you can always make a play if you have Djinni of Zephyrs and a buff in hand.

Thanks for having a look at my deck, and I hope you'll like it, and give it a shot, because it's extremely fun to play :D
