If you have been struggling with the Shaman deck that has more UpVotes... you should have come here first! This deck is WAY more consistent. I have played this battle 10+ times making small tweaks along the way, and I haven't lost yet.
There is really only one thing that Archaedas can do to make winning difficult: He will typically play Animate Earthen on turn two. That's not a big deal, but sometimes he will play a 2nd one on turn 3, and that can be a real problem if you don't have the right cards. He has done that to me twice, and both times I took a lot of damage before I could gain control of the board.
Basic Strategy:
Keep the boss's board clear! His minions become really big really fast if you don't remove them quickly. Don't expect this battle to be over in 5 turns. The boss typically dominates the early game. Just be patient and make smart trades to wrestle board control away from him. You should be able to control the board by turn 7 or 8.
Mulligan:
Keep Blessing of Might, Abusive Sergeant, and Lance Carrier. Equality and Wild Pyromancer can be nice to have too if he plays Animate Earthen back to back early.
Replacements:
This deck is cheap, so you shouldn't need to replace anything. However if you want to change it up just for fun, here are some suggestions...
Crazed Alchemist, Doomsayer, Recombobulator, Tinkmaster Overspark, Dark Iron Dwarf, Enhance-o Mechano, Gormok the Impaler, Spellbreaker, Djinni of Zephyrs
Card Notes:
The Paladin secret that Archaedas plays is Sacred Trial. Spawn of N'Zoth is the perfect card to use to trigger the secret. If you have at least 3 minions on the board, activate your hero power (the secret won't activate), then play the Spawn. That way you get one more minion buffed by his deathrattle.
Wild Pyromancer is best used early in the game with Equality when the board is getting out of control. Later in the game he turns into a bit of a liability, so don't play Equality late with him on the board if you don't have to.

Good Luck!
May 20, 2018 - Revisited this deck with WotOG cards. It still has a 100% win rate (12-0 today). I did make a couple of adjustments, but nothing major. Added a more detailed deck guide.
2019 - Equality nerf hurt its early-game effectiveness a bit, but the deck still seems to do well. It just might take you a couple of extra turns to get control of the board.
Still working!!! Just play control until you can start going face.
Updated cards, substitute where it makes sense:
Aldor Attendant
Libram of Wisdom
Hand of A'dal
Blessing of Wisdom
Easy with the right mulligan.. Thanks!
Worked for me on 2nd try! Thx!
Great deck! Thank you SO much! Won first try! Also thank you for the explanation and mulligan, it helps so much! ♥♥♥
EZ, 1st try :) Thanks!
Worked for me, 2nd try. Thanks!
first try thanks dear
I got this on the first try with an updated variation of the deck because I was missing some of the older cards. I think Equality can probably be dropped altogether. I ended up with the only copy I ran in my starting hand and it sat there dead the whole match, which did go over ten turns.
I ran Sound the Bells! in place of Seal of Champions and I actually think its superior given its echo effect. I don't have Competitive Spirit so I ran Never Surrender!, which has negative synergy with Equality - another reason to drop it. I also ran Smuggler's Run since I only had one Mukla's Champion. I ran Hidden Wisdom in place of Solemn Vigil, which I think is a better choice honestly. Easy peasy. Now I have Brann and didn't even have to craft him!
Second try. I restarted the first one because he had a better opener, but who knows, I may have won it. Great deck.
Still works really well. Just stop killing his minions at a certain point i.e. when he's close to filling the board, as he won't be able to buff them any more by playing any other minion. Leave him with a board full of 0/X statues and go face.
struggles a bit with equality taking a big nerf clearing those +3/+3 minions early on, but over all still works like a charm and got a victory on the first try with no adjustments. Highly recommend this deck if you're struggling!
First try, great deck!
Still works; first try!
