I played 10 games with this deck. won 9 lost 1. Started rank 18. finished rank 14 4 stars.
Played vs mage, lock, rogue, shaman, lock, druid, warrior. hunter, hunter, pala in this exact order
Went on a 8 win streak. lost my 9'th match vs hunter. After a little chat with him, he was running this exact same deck but he switched Faerie Dragon for Scavenging Hyena. He also switched 1 Tracking for a Timber Wolf. It made sense to me because the hyena and the wolf have excellent synergy with buzzard and hounds combo. Any thoughts?
Thank you again for this deck.
I really like this deck. I made a few changes though:
1 Freezing Trap -> 1 Misdirection
Faerie Dragon -> Kill Command
Imp Master -> Cairne Bloodhoof
Anyone care to comment?
I think Kill Command wins me quite a few games so its a great add. Misdirection and freezing trap complete the same goal but one does it by slowing the enemy's pace the other does more direct impact so preference for the most part misdirection really helps versus control warrior ive found (misdirected grom into an enemy gorehowl was awesome). Cairne seems an odd choice since anyone can go around him as they please and he replaces the highmane drop which can be crucial at times.
Still the best Hunter Midrange deck i've played. I keep it on my main roster.
I switched out King Krush for Ragnaros and Tundra Rhino for Stampeding Kodo and i went from rank 17 to rank 8 while only losing once. i don't see how people claim this is a bad deck. Works fine if you know what you're doing.
People start to understand how overrated was this deck ? COOL !
6-8 with this deck at ~13, I don't see what's so great about it.
6-11.
Not sure about this deck.
This deck was pretty decent 25 to 17, easily above a 50% win ratio, after that your win ratio will drop like crazy. Drop it and try something else
This deck sure has some flaws, but it's really great. I went up to rank 8 with a win % ratio of around 80 (http://gyazo.com/79f9901c21272699afd9f74750c48d09) and still going. I used to play ranked with typical hunter's rush deck before so it took me some time to adjust to this one, but that's what casual mode for.
Well you're rank 13.
I'd say you'd keep 1 tracking in since it the only turn 1 card you can play. I find it really helpful as it guarantees a perfect mana curve.
tried this out and promptly went 0-3. this deck sucks
Translation:
Tried this out without having a clue what the concept is and how it works, and promptly went 0-3. I suck at Hearthstone, but I blame this deck.
No it really isnt that good.
King Krush worked well for me as a sub, you still get the 8 damage off although 1 turn later
It's meant as a finisher, so I'd say a charge minion should be a fair replacement, say a King Krush, Argent Commander or Reckless Rocketeer
Good results with the deck. Only lost once - I had a terrible draw, and my opponent had a great one for their deck. Random is random, but i'm happy with it so far.
Juggler + leeroy + buzzard + hounds = Too much trouble to set up under most circumstances, but if it happens....
I'm not convinced at the imp master. What situations do people play it in that they see good returns for that 3 mana?
The Imp master other uses is to combo with Juggler if it ever survive a turn 2 to establish board control or bait out AoE removals for value.
Imp master is a nice lightning rod, I find that loads of people go for this instead of something else on the board. Juggler + imp master is not a combo that I was able to play yet as juggler gets taken out if played in turn 2 that is.
