Hello, I'm Zephyr!
I'm a total mid-range hunter fanatic, and have tried every possible mid range hunter list I could ever find. From my experiences playing mid range hunter, I have experimented with different lists, but after making some very distinct choices, I feel that my iteration works best for me. :) I'm not very big on guides, and if you have more questions feel free to ask them in the comments. Very special thanks to my friend Werfs, for helping me make this deck. He made some very good decisions in this deck.

Card Choice

What was Included:

1x Hunter's Mark: This card personally I prefer over owl. I used to run two copies, but times are changing and I feel that 1 owl is now necessary.

1x Freezing Trap: That's a staple card for hunter, and I have had my life saved numerous times with this.

Flare: I enjoy this card, rest in piece, christmas tree paladins. Also a lifesaver vs Freeze mage.

1x Quick Shot: This is absolutely a life saver in so many situations. Early removal for your enemy's threats like: Darnassus Aspirant or Mana Wyrm. Many times I also use this to set up for my lethal.

1x: Snake Trap: Another trap? Yes. This has helped me so much, whether it was to proc some more knives, or get some Kill Command or Houndmaster value.

2x: Eaglehorn Bow: Fairly self explanatory. Don't be afraid to trade into enemy minions with it either, unless you risk putting yourself in lethal.

2x: Animal Companion: More staple cards! All beasts have good value, and don't forget that they're all beasts.

2x: Kill Command: This card is staple in Hunter. Use it to set up lethal, or even trade. Better yet, it's hidden ability is Make your opponents want to kill themselves."

2x: Unleash the Hounds: Has the ability to turn a losing game, into a winning game. Force your way to lethal.

2x: Houndmaster: Insane value when paired with a beast. My personal preference is to give the taunt to Haunted Creeper.

2x: Savannah Highmane: Heart and soul of mid-range, 6/5 for 6 mana, with a deathrattle that provides two 2/2 hyena beasts. Very sticky minion.

2x: Haunted Creeper: Sticky minion. 1/2 that gives two 1/1s. Can be used with Knife Juggler.
2x: Knife Juggler: Has alot of value in this deck with Haunted Creeper, Snake Trap, Unleash the Hounds, etc. Definitely a favorite.

2x: Mad Scientist: Value! The deathrattle on it is personally a bit too strong.  Pulling out any trap from this is definitely very nice. Be careful however if it pulls a Freezing Trap, and clear any minion that could benefit from playing again... *cough Reno Jackson cough*.

Ironbeak Owl: Has beast synergy and is the only silence.

2x: Piloted Shredder: Sticky, strong, staple in very many decks for it's value.

1x: Loatheb: ULTIMATE lifesaver, especially against mages. Or when you expect your opponent to clear your board. *cough Equality and Consecrate cough*

2x: Sludge Belcher: Times are a' changing and Sludge Belcher is just way too good. I think that it plays well into our curve, and allows us to place a nice turn 5 minion.

1x: Dr. BoomHAHAHAHAHAHA.  Stupidly good card.

Cards I omitted:

Ironbeak Owl: I think this card is too slow, and I would NOT recommend this card.

Big Game Hunter: I personally enjoy this card, however I do not think it is necessary to this list.

Webspinner: I was never truly a fan of Webspinner, I honestly do not enjoy having this in my deck, and I do not use it due to it being stuck in my hand, unless I have a houndmaster to pair it with.

Mulligan:
In generally every matchup, I mulligan for my two drops: Haunted Creeper, Knife Juggler, and Mad Scientist. I also like to keep quick shot. If I already however have a good starting two drop, I like to keep 3 drops like Animal Companion and Eaglehorn Bow.

In these specific match ups I like to keep:

Aggro and Secret Paladin: Unleash the Hounds.
Slower Decks, like Handlock and Control decks: Animal Companion is a personal favorite of mine.

Techs:

I'm very open to teching in cards to suit my needs, but out of the cards I omitted:

Big Game Hunter: I would take out a single hunter's mark for it.

If this reaches to 50 I will talk about match ups and anything else on request.
