Welcome to my Beginners Guide to Druid. Here we will be Discussing the Druid Class and go through some Specific Card Choices. First things first Yes you can win against decks full of legendaries with this deck.
- Pros
- Druid is a incredibly flexible class and you never know the type of deck they will be running.
- Druid has the best common and basic cards (Opinion)
- Strong against all classes
- Druid is easy to climb the rank ladder with
- Cons
- No hard board clear
- The best cards are usually the most expensive to craft
- Reliant on legendaries at higher ranks
- Too mainstream
Introduction
Hello, I'm Lux and I am a deckbuilder and a avid hearthstone player. This deck is a follow up to my popular Blinding Light - Low Budget Priest Deck. Now my experience with Druid is relatively new I had always previously exclusively played Rogue and Priest but recently a lot of my friends have been playing Druid and one day I suddenly sat down read through all the druid cards watched some streams and started building a deck.. This is my result a Druid deck that I have an 80% Win Rate with.
About this Deck and Druid in General.
Druid like priest is an adaptable Class to say the least; it can be played in a large variety of ways from rush all the way to Control/Board Wipe. What I will be going into is the most simple/staple way of playing Druid and because this deck was created for New Druids with a small budget. So I didn't Include any Rares/Epics/Legendaries. - As always this isn't the definitive way to play Druid

-2 Boulderfist +1 Dr. Boom +1 Loatheb OR Emperor Thaurisan?
-2 Sejin +2 Sludge Belcher?
-1 Chillwind +1 Piloted Shreddar?
Will this work?
imo without force of nature and savage roar combo, loatheb is better especially against control
awesome deck, thanks dude, and everyone for upgrade suggestions.
Hey Lux, thanks for the deck. Will you be posting an updated version including Goblin vs. Gnomes cards, or maybe some rare cards from any set that can be swapped in to improve it as we're able to craft them?
hey lux, loved your guide, are you gonna get around to making that intermediate druid deck?
Nice budget deck!
For those beginners that are reading this - as soon as you can save up for 2 Ancient of Lore then they will really compliment this deck and take it to the next level.
At least!! One druid deck that works fine for me! I "updated" it to Naxx patch with -2[card]Sen'jin Shieldmasta[/card] +2 Sludge Belcher but anyway is a solid deck. Congratulations!!
AMAZING deck, very well structured, a little bit weak on the draw power but it has a 90% win ratio also if you play with a pro... very good deck!
Is Nourish any good in this deck? Since you can get 2 mana crystals or draw 3 cards which seems pretty neat to me.
And if I would add it, which card should I remove?
This is probably the best budget Druid deck listed at this time. The main weaknesses I've found are Warlocks (any kind) and Mages.
I definitely agree. Maybe it's just the way I play the deck, but I lost to every warlock and mage I played.
^^
Good for beginners, but I'm not feeling this deck too much, even with some upgrades. Currently 1/2 with it I believe; don't really feel the synergy at all in it.
Great deck! Definitely a great beginner deck for ladder. Used it as a template for what I'm running now. :)
Replaced :
-2 Boulderfist Ogre +1 Baron Geddon +1 Ancient of Lore
-1 Acidic Swamp Ooze -1 Faerie Dragon +2 Keeper of the Grove
Looking good.
I'm having success with this deck, though nowhere near 80%. Early rush decks seem to get the best of me (murLock.) Any strategy/card swap ideas? I also dropped an ooze for an owl as I was really needing a silence every few games.
Love this deck, thanks for posting it! :)
Thank you, if you like this deck you might like my other low budget decks, I advise checking them out.
Thanks for response!
I've really started taking a liking to druid just because of this deck :D
I played Arena run and managed to get wins with the druid as well. I didn't think I would make it that far...
I've unlocked a Ancient of Lore What Can I replace? Ive replaced one of the [card]Boulderfist Ogre[/card] Will this work?
Yep that sounds like a very good replacement.
