This is Reynad's Warlock Aggro Deck, that he named Zoo.
Reynad praises this deck as the best deck in the game, despite the fact that it can be built on a budget. I have included a link to his video where he goes into a lot of detail as to why he picks each card.
Updates:
(3/5/14): Reynad has swapped a few cards around. He dropped both of the Argent Commander and Young Priestess, in favor of two Dark Iron Dwarf and two Abusive Sergeant.
I had already felt the Young Priestess was under performing. Adding the Abusive Sergeant gives you more burst potential, which is nice. The Argent Commander drop was a little more surprising to me, but after trying the switch I definitely like the change. I feel Dark Iron Dwarf fits into the curve better due to coming before Doom Guard, thus reducing the chances of having to discard a high priority card. Dark Iron Dwarf is durable at 4/4 and adds the same burst that Abusive Sergeant gives. However I am not sure that Leeroy Jenkins and one Dark Iron Dwarf is not the better choice.
Got this deck, Currently 0 and 3 with it and still struggling to learn to play it. Ive heard a lot of positive feedback on this deck and i need some tips.
so how do u handle board clearing cards?
i send in all my minions, dominate for the first 3-4 turns then BAAAM the guy uses lighting storm/auchenai soulpriest + circle of healing/hellfire and i am done for.
this deck needs more argent commanders and less shield bearers. i get that it's a budget deck but those two rares will make a big impact. the mana curve wants it.
ROFL Funny story I tried this deck for a couple games and decided to give up because AoE op.
I start a game on my Miracle Rogue and notice a guy with the exact same deck as this and just proceed to destroy him; simply because I knew what lethal cards he had.
Hits the usual Rank 15 brick wall.
you should have gone to the cinema instead of creating this sh** damn u reynad
This deck ruined hearthstone. Everyone and their mother uses this deck.
I tweaked the deck and starting winning on the regular right away. I'll have to keep playing more to see if it's for sure the pretty awesome deck I've tweaked it to be, but it's looking good. Thanks for the basic deck idea.
I'm on a winning streak, and this deck is great for a new Warlock, b/c it doesn't even include Doomguard or Soulfire: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/47760-abominable-aggro-zoo
I built a deck based on Reynads Zoo. Check it out and let me know what you think:
An unexpected twist would to put malygos in for 18 burst damage with soulfire
In my opinion it's time has passed. It was good 2 weeks ago, and great a month ago. Now so many people are playing a variation of it that everyone is running a counter in the Meta. I hit a complete brick wall with this deck in the last week. It's interesting how fast the Meta changes to neutralize decks like this.
I agree that it's time may be passed but, even running into mirrors and removal heavy decks I still seem to be doing just fine with it in single digit land.
This deck USED to be ok. In the current Meta though it gets absolutely destroyed by Hunters, Paladins, and Druids. I ran it from 25-18, but the ride stopped there. I can barely beat anyone with this deck past level 18. It's not quite a rush deck, and it falls apart in the late game. Unless you get a super optimal draw and your opponent has nothing to counter it this deck is terrible.
This deck is amazing. I won 14 out of 17 games so far. I lost 2 times against a hunter and one time against a mage.
Gosh this is awesome, so much better/consistent than my previous hunter rush...
As I don't have the second Doomguard I replaced it by a Felguard (3/5 taunt). Also swapped the two Shieldbearers for a Leeroy (more aggro) and a Spellbreaker (silence for that last annoying taunt). Thank you Reynad!!
went up against two hunters in a row and lost both times...given its real close...but their UTH combos with hyena's is just insane and clears my board everytime
this deck is absolutely amazing for the early ladder climbing. and incredibly fast too. i went from rank 20-15 today under an hour without losing!
I got to 7 with it then stopped using it so you're just bad
Im consistently seeing this at rank 5+ so you might want to work on how you play it.
I've been testing this deck out all evening and it's fantastic. I do however firmly believe Leeroy Jenkins is far better than the second Dark Iron Dwarf as it basically acts like a third Doomguard which doesn't require you to discard your saved up Soul Fires. 10 damage out of no where is a lot to dish out in a single turn + your other minions.
