This is the Druid mid-range deck that I used to get from rank 4 to legendary.
Check out my stream at http://twitch.tv/faction60 to see this deck in action
It's focused on early/mid game board control into a savage roar finish using the tokens generated by Violet Teacher and Imp Master, but can also hold its own in long games due to 2x Anicents of Lore and Cenarius.
Legendary replacements:
Replace Leeroy Jenkins with a mid-game drop of your choice. An Auctioneer or Druid of the Claw for example.
Nat Pagle is not really easy to replace, I'd say he wins 1 out of every 10 games by himself which is huge for a card that's 1 slot in a deck of 30. Replace with Thalnos if you have him, otherwise I'm not too sure.
Cenarius should probably be replaced with an Auctioneer
If you don't have 2 of these legendaries, I would definitely suggest going with 2x Argent Squire as they are very good against hunter and warrior aggro and can survive for a long time to be buffed by power of the wild or savage roar.
Bad matchups: Reynad Aggro Warrior, Shaman with good lightning storm RNG, Giants Warlock. All of these are winnable depending on draw luck, however.
Good matchups: Aggro warlock, mid-range warlock, Standard Rogue, Control druid, Aggro hunter
Mulligan strategies:
Mulligan hard for 2 and 3 drops against almost every class. Against aggro warlock keep a swipe and any claws/wrath/2 or 3 drop minions, and against aggro in general keep the claw/wrath. Always keep innervate no matter what the matchup is, and if your hand has innervate completely change your mulligan strategy, ie: keep 4 and 5 drops that you plan to innervate.
Sounds like a good idea.
Also, Cenarius seems like a good fit with his +2/2 to all minions. I know he's 9 mana, though, but that's a turn 7 with innervate.
If you've got enough tokens on the board to suicide them into your opponents minions you're probably already winning anyway. Auctioneer is good even if you don't control the board.
Have you tried Onyxia? She seems like the perfect card to rebound back from board wipes, and shore up the Shaman matchup (unless they have it all). Obviously her cons are that she's expensive, and not useful if you already have an engine or two going, but the upside seems really good. In a top deck situation, she just wins the game, and even if they can deal with the 1/1s, you're still left with an 8/8.
I don't know how budget you're keeping the list, but it seems worth a try.
this deck is pure gold
I might be doing this wrong but is Shaman pretty much an auto loss? I'm only playing around rank 6 and I cannot beat a shaman. I don't have a chance, between forks, storm, shock, bolt and hex I don't have a ghosts chance. Tips? Tricks? Hackz?! I do well VS most other matchups without much struggle but goddamnit if I can't beat a shaman.
Shamans not in your favor, you can win like 40% though. If they draw both storms early or get nice rng it's gg
Alright, that's good to know I don't feel so bad about my W/L vs shaman now. They are brutal with those Storms.
Soul of the Forest is too expensive for this deck without Innervates- nevermind, I am an idiot. ... A Druid deck without Innervate - HAHA wtf was I thinking..I dropped a Violet Teacher for a Soul of the Forest, let's see how it goes.
Soul of the forest could be nice but I don't like using "win more" cards
Looks like an interesting deck. Going to give it a shot!
