Hello fellow HearhPWNers, Namu in here. Just wanted to share this decklist, as it proved to be successful in my laddering.

With TGT launch, Dragon Warrior finally got 2 things it desperately needed - 2 things to deal with aggro & aggro-ish mid-range decks - Twilight Guardian (kind of looks like Spyro btw) and Chillmaw. Previously it worked as well, but it definitely wasn't as consistent as it tends to be currently - now even without early weapons we're able to deal with pesky swarm (taunted Twilight Guardian works wonders and it's a dragon).

Main thing about this decklist? Lots of threats & tons of survivability. Regular Control Warrior cannot really match all those dragons and 'normal' threats, same goes to almost all control decklists (unless they obviously have godlike hands and we're making mistake after mistake). About not dying too soon (or at all preferably)... Apart from our Hero Power, we have 2 more taunts than normally (in most CW decklists there are 2 Sludge Belchers) and usual stuff like Shield BlockBrawl and Revenge (not to mention direct removals).

I faced mostly aggro decks (Hunter, Eboladin) and control ones (Handlock, Control Warrior), although there were quite a lot combo Druids and I stumbled across fair share of those new Totem Shaman decks - so if you're facing similar decklists and you want to try something new, good luck and let me know in comments how did you do :)

Replacements?

Twilight Guardian can be replaced with Sen'jin Shieldmasta as 4 mana taunt (it won't activate your Blackwing Corruptor if you'd like to Coin him out on turn 4 though), but sadly Chillmaw is irreplacable - she's (yup, it's a she) just too handy (I mean, obviously, you can try, but it won't be the same against aggro/mid-range decks). Same goes with Alexstrasza - the profit of healing up from almost lost game against Hunter/Paladin or setting lethal with Grommash Hellscream in next turn is way too good to pass.

Instead of Nefarian you could put Ysera if you'd like to (when I'm gonna face more control heavy meta I will do it for sure) or Chromaggus (without immediate impact on the board, but not gonna get BGHed and... well, needs to be silenced / dealt with asap - it also costs 8 instead of regular dragon-ish 9 mana).

EDIT: I replaced Nefarian withDeathwing. Both can be killed by BGH, both are dropped in total late game, but Deathwing can make the biggest swing in the game if opponent will spit his minions out. So far works wonders for me.

Yes, you can replace one Shieldmaiden with Justicar Trueheart - I would probably try him in the first place IF I had him. Be careful though - if you're facing lot of aggro - 5/5 body and suddenly gaining 5 armor can win you more games than just putting 6/3 on the board (in turn 6 and 7).

About Sylvanas Windrunner... I guess you can put Loatheb or Emperor Thaurissan in her stead, but they don't create such pressure and don't force opponent into weird trades like she does.

Dr. Boom can be replaced with Ragnaros the Firelord, although it's not the same mana cost and it's not as good as Boom in dealing with lots of creatures on the board.

If you're facing more control decks than aggro ones (mostly Handlocks and other decks with lots of 7+ attack minions), I guess you can replace Armorsmith with Big Game Hunter  (although I didn't have that need). In that case I'd also swap Revenge for second Cruel Taskmaster (same mana cost for Execute enabler, but also can be paired with BGH to kill Emperor Thaurissan or Loatheb AND it's a better activator for Acolyte of Pain and Grommash Hellscream).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Most of all... Mulligan well (don't keep any of 6+ mana cost minions in your starting hand (unless you're TOTALLY 100% SURE that you're against Patron Warrior and you have Chillmaw), always keep weapons (no more than 2 though)) and learn the deck, how to pilot it properly - it's a bit different than regular Control Warrior, so one game won't do if you want to master it completely but it shouldn't take as long as with mastering Handlock.

Good luck on the ladder!

EDIT: Current season, Going 16:3 with this decklist. Revenge is a must from my experience, it wins TONS of matchups when used correctly.
