Miracle Rogue was first created by a player name Sveno. He created the deck before Hearthstone was even playable. Then sometime later after balance changes, a guy that went my the name of Travis built it again, and that is the original post on Hearthpwn. Then, it was nerfed again. After that, a very popular player named Kolento remade the deck in the summer of 2014. Finally, miracle rogue was nerfed again. The nerfs to both Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkinskilled the deck.
The History of Rogue
Beta Travis Miracle
Kolento Miracle
well, just read your comment again and you have the answer
Travis, couldn't you just use Arcane Golem, Shadowstep, shadowstep, coldblood, coldblood, swing for 4+4+4+12 for 24 damage?
The problem is the auctioneer, not the leeroy
That's true lol. I feel like Oil had the draw mechanic down. Like yeah Gadgetzan is too slow now, but it wouldn't be a problem for Oil Rogue to draw most of that combo. They have Fan (1), Shiv (1), Sprint x2 (4), Thalnos (1), for a grand total of 11 cards drawn. Most of their cards also cycle or are sticky minions. So I can't see why something like a more mid range rogue can't come back.
Actually now that I think about it, Oil is essentially Miracle -Gadgetzan x2 +Sprint x2 and Tinker's Oil so lol yeah wow just explained to myself how Oil=Miracle, when it definitely doesn't.
R.I.P in peace my sweet prince.
"Leeroy Jenkins created a strategy that revolved around trying to defeat your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. Fighting for board control and battles between minions make an overall game of Hearthstone more fun and compelling, but taking 20+ damage in one turn is not particularly fun or interactive. This was occurring when Leeroy was used in combination with other cards like Power Overwhelming, Faceless Manipulator, Cold Blood, Shadowstep, and Unleash the Hounds, among others."
Patron: *laughs*
srsly cry more
And face hunter, and freeze mage, and even oil rogue....
The stupidity of this post actually amazes me. Let me count the ways.
1. This deck -- if you could actually read clearly states ". The nerfs to both Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkinskilled the deck. "
2. This deck -- if you could actually read clearly states ". The nerfs to both Gadgetzan Auctioneer and Leeroy Jenkinskilled the deck. "
Oh man I laughed so hard at this
Lol you are at rank 13 losing 70% of games with oil , and you are telling me it isnt viable. I have being play oil in legend a lot today it is great against secret paladin, winning a lot. Saying oil rogue wont get you past rank 18 XD omg stop
This isn't my deck I maintain the page. This page has the most history on the site. I was asked to maintain it. Disregard my name below the deck name.
Sorry your mad and you cant play oil rogue, it is one of the hardest decks to play.
EDIT: just in case you can't wrap your mind around what I am saying; you have no right to judge the viability of an archetype that has existed for multiple expansions because you lose with it at rank 13 on the last day of the season, while myself excels in Legend rank never falling below 150.
tl;tr: you are bad at oil rogue
Miracle will never be
Funny : I can't see this deck in a deck research even though it got 1500 up votes and even when I add "oil" in the "deck name" search bar x)
The deck has been removed from listings.
But why ? (didn't know it was possible unless you'd delete it xD)
flood y u no add thaurisan, doesnt that help your combo with cold blood ect
An Oil Rogue deck which was created over two years ago, now THAT's a miracle!
A Miracle Rogue deck which was edited into an Oil one. Kappa.
OVER 2 years ago? The game itself hasn't even been releasead for 2 years. Not even close.
It says in the heading ^^^ t'was created during beta release, but there've surely been a some edits on the deck name n list.
