That's why this fight is so irritatingly difficult. When cards like Spectral Trainee and Spectral Rider die, they give you their spiritual form (a 0/1 token that deals 1 damage to your face at the start of your turn). To counter this, we have Waling Soul, Raid Leader and two Stormwind Knights to enhance or even fight with these terrible tokens.

The large mass of AoE cards utilizes the fact that almost all of Gothik's minions have 4 or less health (excluding Spectral Rider). Cards like Blizzard, Explosive Sheep and Flamestrike allow you to wipe the enemy board, even with assistance from Gothik's Unstable Ghouls and Abomination cards.

Overall Strategy: Somewhat stall out the game. Gothik mills himself right from the get go. Spam freezing or other AoE cards later on in the game and eventually drop Wailing Soul or Stormwind Knight to help survive.
