Hello Everyone! This is a somewhat "standard Zoo" deck that I've been messing around with at the end of last season and the beginning of the current season with some decent success. I peaked at Rank 1 last season but ran out of time late last night attempting to hit legend. It aligns itself with the typical "Zoo" lock archetype while attempting to focus on improving Mana efficiency per turn as well as focusing on having a large board. The deck is rather cheap to craft and also has a couple of cards I sub in/out. Loatheb is a very strong card for multiple reasons, yet if unavailable and in certain match ups Frostwolf Warlord is an amazing sub. Bane of Doom is another card that can be subbed out, sometimes in favor of the Frostwolf, yet I've even had luck utilizing Silver Hand Knight. I've also even tried using a second Sea Giant in some games, but having two sit in hand can be a very big burden. The combo potential can be strong, however! This deck excels at building board pressure more swiftly than standard Zoolock, making it easier to come back from "boardwipes" as well as pressuring opponents into using these spells in a lackluster way. Give it a try and hit me up with any feedback you may have trying the deck out! I intend to put in a class-based Mulligan deck in the future. Happy Stoning! =)
I am not an experienced warlock player by any means, but I decided that I wanted to make a zoolock deck that utilized reliquary seekers ( which lead me to frostwolf warlords) thus leading me to add in Brann Bronzebeard. Although utterly stupid comboing RS or FW with Brann it has just sealed out the game for me in some games, so if you would want to experiment with Brann as well I am curious what a more experienced zoolock player would think of it.
Great deck!
I've been using Zoo Lock for a while now and it's a very powerful deck type. Easy to use, and hard to shut down. If you don't have Bane of Doom (like me) I can see Darkbomb or some Death coils working in its place. I also occasionally find uses for Ironbeak Owls in this deck type. I have yet to think of using a void terror to trigger Piloted Shredders/Haunted Creepers/Nerubian Eggs. I might have to give it a try!
Looks good! Thanks for posting!
