Here's a deck I threw together with the meta in mind and from trying a few Twitch builds.
I was watching Hotform go to Legend this season with Pirate Pally so I gave it a try.
I didn't like too much given my place in the ladder was far different from his, but instead I made a more meta-appropriate deck for where I was in ladder, about 9-10.
I also don't have much practice or stats with the deck, but I did go from 10 to 5 in a relatively short time, without playing very extensively. I'll update with some stats at the end of the season.
ANYway, card choices, mulligans, techs, etc.
MULLIGANS
I'll add class specifics as I use the deck more.
General Mulligan rules are as follows:
- Try to have a minion play for every turn within turn 3, curve is especially important in aggro decks
- Keep Leper, Minibot, Wolfrider, Juggler, Muster, Argent, Owl (in some cases), Truesilver
- Never keep Arcane, Blessing of Might OR of the Kings, Divine Favor
- Keep Consecrate against Aggro
GENERAL TIPS
- Use all buffs on Divine Shields preferably
- Equality + Consecrate only. If you have an annoying Belcher in your way, silence it or deal with it
-When playing Dire Wolf, play the target to be buffed first.
- When using Blessing of the Kings, try to hold off on using it for Arcane (unless of course you have lethal) because you're creating a BGH target.
- Owls are to be reserved for late game annoyances (Sylvanas, Tirion, taunted Giants, Antonidas)
Love seeing more aggro options for classes. Great list.
There's a mistake with a deck's crafting cost.
The Charge element is pretty important so I can't really think of any other suitable replacements other than like Leeroy (which a friend of mine has said he's had success with). It's good to hear that Argus works.
Hey I picked the deck up last season, did amazing with it. Hit legend for the first time. Right now I'm doing really well on ladder. First day played 74 minutes went from rank 18 to rank 10, day two played for 16 minutes went to rank 9, and yesterday played two matches and became rank 8. I've essentially win streaked from rank 16, and I do amazingly against aggro, and control and mid range is a piece of cake (Except for Control warrior). I recommend throwing in a Argent protector because it is the shit against control decks, ramp druid, and Grim Patron Warrior. Turn 1 coin Juggler, turn 2 Argent Protector on Juggler, turn 3 Abusive, leper, Argent or a knife juggler and a 1 drop, or any combination of cards. But argent protector stops the fiery war axe, and against druids stops their wrath. It also adds a divine shield back to a shielded minibot or Arcane Golem/Wolfrider buffed by Blessings of King. I'd remove 1 blessing of kings to add a blessing of might. You could also check my deck out that I made and ran to legend last season. I haven't changed a card in it and early blessing of might turns on a shielded minibot just wreck.
Hope I helped!
I like the Deckhand synergy with the weapons. With 2 Truesilver and 2 weapons from Muster you'll always have time to put a quick 2-9 on your opponent in the same turn. I tried Creeper before posting, it's just that I felt that Creeper would be better for builds that focus more on floating and board presence.
How come no Leeroy?
Could always throw in Leeroy for an Arcane Golem.
Minibot ??? wtf
