Thats the mulligan vs control decks and the strategy to play the giants and drakes. He already explained the mulligan for aggro decks. u can replace ragnaros with sylvanas, loatheb or de boom if u have them. Malganis doesnt fit in handlock unless u play a hybrid deck with voidcallers instead of mountain giants like strifecro demon handlock, if not them malganis has not place in the handlock deck.

None. Jaraxxus cant be replaced. some people say alextrasza is a good substitute and some people say she is better than jaraxxus but she is not. Save the dust and craft jaraxxus if u want to make a competitive handlock. Alextrasza can only heal u back to 15 or lower ur oponent to 15 and give u a 8/8 body which is a sweet target to bgh next turn. She is a super expensive giant thats it. on the other hand jaraxxus is a unique minion, replaces guldan with him give u a 3/8 weapon and the new hero power is op, 6/6 infernals for only 2 mana and not vulnerable to bgh Which can be taunted for protection and shadowflamed for clearing the board Or simply for putting a solid body on board for only 2 mana

Yeah man, the effect of alex plus the 8/8 body cant compare with all the power that jaraxxus offers you in the long control matchup. Even against priest which struggle dealing damage u can play jaraxxus on turn 9 without even dropping molten giants before and win the match because the cant fight the constant spawning of infernals each turn plus other the minions. Alex is just a snack for priest with shadow world: death lol well whoever downvoted me dowsnt know anything about handlock lol :)

Nice deck, heal seems very useful against aggro decks. Can you add mulligan vs shaman?

Just pray to get Darkbomb for that Whirling Zap-o-matic or Mechwarper

Vs shaman mulligan for dark bombs, hellfire, molten giants, keep watcher if u have the owl. Never mulligan for drakes since they are vulnerable to earth shock, and dont waste ur hellfore on crappy totems, save it for other stronger minions.
