I been playing this deck for a while now. 

You main goal is on turn 9 or 10, get Malygos out and play your Sinister Strike or any other spells. This was possible before, but thank to Emperor Thaurissan now, you can make your spells cost less (or Malygos himself) to be able to do theEviscerate, Blade Flurry or Fan of Knives when you summon Malygos. I had games where I have done 18 damage with a with Eviscerate and Sinister Strike.

You can win without Malygos, with the oil combo, and don't worry if you have to use a sinister strike to use a combo but try to save them if you can. [card]Preparation [/card] are also good for spells after Malygos is out, but I usually used at least one prep on a Sprint or oil.

Also remember Blade Flurry does benefit from spell damage, Having a Azure Drake or Bloodmage Thalnos out before a Blade flurry can really benefit you. 

How do I play this deck when I don't get to my card draw mechanics? I just had to play a game where I went through only half my deck by turn 10 and my hand was 2 preps, 2 evis, 2 blade flurry and maly. I really want to be able to play this deck better, just for the sake of malygod :p

How do you survive without spending 'game winning' spells and taking too much damage until Malygos comes down?

its true, i been trying malygos rogue decks and most of time losses to face hunter :( so i stop to play it a little

maybe I just dont know how to play it
but i modified it a bit to be more like oil rogue
conceal -1
sinister -1
shreddr -2
violet teacher +2
auctioneer -1
sprint +1
personally I added healbot instead of edwin cause I dont have edwin
working great now

love this deck, insanely fun

Oil is still better, but its nice to see the emperor bring some new life into one of my favorite decks ever. The key thing is you normally have to save both preps for your malygos turn, but with the emperor you can often make your sinister strikes/eviscerates/blade flurries free. This allows you to use preps like a traditional rogue would.
