This deck is very much a work in progress but it is most certainly viable. It fills an empty spot in the ladder and has been working very well for me this season. Be aware that it is not perfect though, and cards may change as the decks I face do.
Designed to beat aggro and control alike, this deck is based on the old Healadin that used to be so prominent in the meta. It runs classic cards such as Ysera, Guardian of Kings, and Lay on Hands. I have improved upon this old archetype with the introduction of cards such as Seal of Light, Dr. Boom and Antique Healbot.
The basic aim of the deck is to bring each and every game to fatigue. We have a total of 60 points of healing in the deck, meaning that you can almost triple your base HP!
Mulligans
Aggro; Zombie Chow, Shielded Minibot, Seal of Light
Control; Zombie Chow, Shieled Minibot, Acolyte of Pain, Truesilver Champion (w/ coin)
Combo's
Since our main aim is to stay alive, we want to get as much value as possible, and this comes in the form of Equality. Against control, you want to save this card to get 1 or more huge minion off the board. The easiest way to do this is through;
Equality + Pyromancer = 4 mana
Equality + Consecration = 6 mana
Replacements
Ysera = Sneeds Old Shredder OR Ragnaros the Firelord
Tirion Fordring is very much unique and difficult to replace, but here I would recommend a Kel'Thuzad.
Dr. Boom = Irreplaceable :(
Sylvannas = The Black Knight OR Harrison Jones.
Tech Cards
You can consider replacing Seal of Light or Acolyte of Pain for a Mind Control Tech or Big Game Hunter.
Thank you for reading through the deck. If you have any questions or suggestions please say so in the comments. Lastly, don't forget to rate if you like the deck idea!
Am I the only person who doesn't have Dr. Boom, Sylvanas Windrunner, Ragnaros the Firelord, or Alexstrasza??? T-T
yes
Played 3 games, lost 2 won 1, probably will win more from now on. Made two changes:
-2 Holy Light +1 Ragnaros the Firelord +1 Alexstrasza
The first version really lacks of late game imo, I was getting to late game with only small minions due to bad early draw and when the big fights started, my bombs were already defused.
I won against a mech mage thanks for the healing, specially from Alexstrasza going from 2 to 15HP!
See ya!

I kinda like playing with this deck. But one thing, I'm on a 4 streak lose and never win one. Can I know how to properly play this?
EDIT: Nvm, I started to win!
EDIT 2: I always lose to priest :( 0% Winrate
Played this deck with Dr. Boom replaced by Loatheb, Ysera replaced by Kel'Thuzad, and Sylvanas replaced by Thaurissan. Works quite well, although bad early draws can be the death of you even with heals. The pyro and equality combo work well if you lack Consecration as well.
Curious about the seal of light pick, I used it right when GvG came out but it was too low impact to justify using. Do you use it as a cheap wild pyro activator? Otherwise great deck.
What about Emperor in this deck?
Emperor is a great card. But in Paladin, after a lot of playing test,is a bad card.
what would be the best option for replacing ysera?
Ragnaros the Firelord or Sneed's Old Shredder....I would say Ragnaros the Firelord though. Ysera is slow, but it's a finisher often times, so those replacements fit. There is also a replacement section in the write-up above.
Its a unique form of end game card draw as well as having a big body and a semi win condition. This means it can possible be replaces with a few things including but not limited to: Sneed's Old Shredder, Ragnaros the Firelord, possibly a second Lay on Hands, and maybe just maybe a Bolvar Fordragon. The important thing is not the tribal dragon synergy. The important part is that its a win condition, card draw, and a big body. If you can replace one of those things thats what your looking to replace, what the card does, not what the card is.
I've been trying to fit Harrison Jones into this deck, but it's been difficult to find a good spot. Any recommendations, or is he even needed at all?
Playing against this kind of Control Pally with Warrior was one of the most infuriating shit ever lol
very pretty, I've never seen the old Healadin's or experienced them, didn't play much Hearthstone during open beta and before Naxx but this looks like a fun Control Deck, I've got most of the cards, just lacking Tirion and Lay on Hands and was wondering what I could run in place of Lay on Hands for the time being? I first considered Divine favor, but that's just silly becuase I doubt your hand would ever be empty enough to get any value out of that
Cool, I'll see about getting the dust after Blackrock, thanks for the advice and I'll check it out :)
Considering how Paladin's newest card is Dragon Consort, your decision to include Ysera in your deck feels prophetic. :)
How is ranked with this deck? Recently I was thinking too of somewhat bringing back the healadin. My upvote for the idea.
Ysera's a surprisingly useful card right now! She fits in control warrior rather nicely, she always fits in paladin and shaman for sheer card advantage later on. (Many Shamans are experimenting with replacing Neptulon with her, or running both.) Just because she's not appearing on lists on hearthpwn by no means says she isn't getting a lot of play right now.
