Hi guys, this is the first deck I made. I was on an insane win streak with this, going from rank 8 to rank 3 in a couple hours (although it was the last day of the season).
This deck is essentially one that Kolento was playing on his stream a couple of days ago, with only two card changes. Both changes were because I did not have the cards but the substitutes far exceeded my expectations.
+Loatheb -Harrison Jones I found that this deck does fairly well against weapon classes, with warrior being a good matchup, and rogue being a relatively even one. Loatheb is a decent fit in pretty much any deck, and it can lock down a turn for rogue and other spell heavy classes. Feel free to try Harrison.
+Onyxia -Cenarius I opened Onyxia a bit after GvG came out, and I've been trying to make it work. I'm pretty happy to report that it fits extremely well in this deck. Cenarius and Onyxia are kind of similar in that both have the same mana cost and both have kind of slow effects. Cenarius' buff is immediate, but it requires a board, and two minions preferably to get value. I see Onyxia as a Dr. Boom v2, and everyone knows how good Boom is at the moment. Of course, you should bait out fan of knives/whirlwind/etc before playing it. The value it gets is insane! (Onyxia + Savage Roar the turn after is exactly 30 damage!) Another thing to note is that no one expects Onyxia so people never play around it.
Mulligans
Wild Growth and Innervate are keeps for all match ups. Against aggro Zombie Chow is great, and I would keep in control match ups too just so I don't draw it in the late game. However, mulliganing it away to look for WG and Innervate are perfectly acceptable. Shade of Naxxramas are the best early minions to get, and unless you're facing aggro and have a terrible hand, I would also keep.
Is there anything I can use to replace Sylvanas Windrunner ?
Good luck! I've been playing this deck again at around rank 4, so it's still viable :)
Glad to hear you're having success with it. :) Hunter is a very difficult matchup and hard to beat without a near perfect curve. That record is truly incredible though!
Looking forward to try Onyxia in a deck. I got it in a pack and did not really where to use it. Why don't you have 2 Force of Nature to get your combos out more consistently?
Having 2 FoN in a deck can often times leave you with a dead card in your hand; from my experience, one FoN is a perfect fit. Also this deck does not rely only on the combo as a win condition. One savage roar with 2/3 big minions already on board can be enough. However, try it out yourself and tell me what you think!
