Hi! I CreMaster I'm a 7 time legend player. I made this deck to fool around but it turned out to be really good. This deck is something that I've never seen before and its on its early stages, so changes are bound to happen constantly, but its finally at a point where i feel that sharing it is the best way to improve it. The deck is aggressive but its smartly aggressive, your first 4 turns you have to control the board hard if you have innervate that helps reduce the time it takes to set up the aggressive part of the deck. The key elements are Hobgoblin and Jeeves. The point of the deck is to well win by like turn 9 but if it doesn't work you can always use Jeeves to draw. Hob is really good but if you don't draw him you can still win the power of the wild and savage roar.
Opening hand.
As your opening you want zombie chow. to play turn 1. there's always the option of an undertaker opening. Also with coin an innervate, hob and a 1 drop is devastating. you can pretty much start with any card. the only cards you DONT WANT on your opening hand are loatheb, violet teacher, savage roar, swipe and sometimes power of the wild and keeper. so that means 2/3 of your deck is good for an opening hand which is nice.
Gameplay.
As for every match up the play is different ill try to upload a video explaining the deck in detail in the next week or so. Ill upload an explanation of the deck in SPANISH/ESPAÑOL tomorrow. Heres gameplay and the tech of the deck in spanish ill upload english soon.
The only thing you need to keep in mind is the Strong match ups and the weak ones.
YOU BEAT: Zoo, Hunter, Rogue, Pally and warrior, regular double combo druid.
50/50: Handlock, shaman, taunt ramp druid
YOU DIE AGAINST: Priest, mechmage.
Havent played enough to know the exact percentage, but that's why I'm uploading it.
Have fun playing in the ladder with this and PLEASE PLEASE comment to improve it. All input is good, I've had many ideas to change it, from using cogmaster, unstable ghoul, weblord, novice engineer. The zombie is still in question as is the loatheb and 1 of the violet teachers. I have a lot of ideas and been trying out a few but more input is necessary.
***CHANGE VERSION 1.5***Removed Force of Nature, because it was a mostly dead card and a Violet Teacher to lower the curve. Added 2 Imp Master, as you can play it turn 3 with no fear and the imps power up with Savage Roar and Power of the Wild and activates with Hobgoblin, its been doing very well.***
***CHANGE VERSION 1.7***Removed the 2x Zombie Chow, added a Novice Engineer for drawing purpose as the deck needed a little more and it when you play it with Hobgoblin it instantly draws a card to also play with him and late game its good draw. Also added Mark of the Wild the card protects your important minions, like Jeeves and Hobgoblin also does a great combo with Echoing Ooze and more life to a minion to actually challenge the board to be able to stabilize and do well with your Hobgoblin and Power of the Wild combos.***
I've been playing Brian Kibler's Jeevlin Druid deck some, which goes the Ancient of Lore way instead of the Imp Master mainly. I'll try this out for sure man, this looks super fun! With the 2x Imp Master in this particular version... do you think we're trying to find a way to get 1x Sea Giant in here? or do you think it's better to steer clear of BGH and Shadow Word: Death targets? is 1 Swipe OK? does this deck need 1x BGH of it's own?
thanks! great stuff!
I Have been having fun with this deck since it doesn't rely too much on the high end Druid cards which i don't have seems the only way i can make druid even playable. If I may make a couple suggestions, which has been a huge improvement on my games is to remove the Zombie Chow cards and instead add two Mark of the Wild also i removed one Jeeves for a Nourish
funny thing, ive been looking for ways to remove chow, it gives you the early game stability to have the board to be able to take full advantage of Hobgoblin, but the healing and late game draw is total crap. so ive actually taken them out recently, put in, 2 novice engineers, for draw mainly, but also combo with hob, and its been doing fine, ill try one mark and see how it goes in comparison with the novice, testing out one of each is the best way to see which is better. As for the nourish thing, you are not the first person to say that, i have not tried it, actually havent been playing much because of med school reasons. but when i go back to deck ill give it a go and see what I like best, i mean, jeeves can be a 4 mana 1/4 with battlecry nourish, and with hob a 4 mana, 3/6. and maybe even draw more than 3 cards but, ill see whats up soon. Thanks a ton for the input, from the comments and ideas of people like you is that im improving the deck to be as good as it can be!
i have all the cards except bloodmage thalnos.. do i replace him with kobolt or with something like micro machine?
hi! weirdly enough bloodmage doesnt have a replacement, since he buffs spells, buffs undertaker, draws a card and becomes a 3/3 with hob. the card is really amazing in this deck. Now you can experiment with what ever you like thats 1 or 2 mana, i suggest Novice Engineer the instant draw can get you important cards that you can play the same turn like a 1 attack minion for hob. and it also activates with hob. try to get thalnos, but if you cant, ill start by using novice and experiment from there. remember this deck is in its baby steps. and have fun.
I just had a really good match against this with my zoo and was blown away. If this deck doesn't become huge I'll be blown away. Amazing creativity. Fantastic job man
thnx man! and try it out, give out some pointers, it still needs improvement. the zombie as i said doesnt quite fit, but i cant think of anything better.
