*Latest update* Subbed Harrison for black knight due to more druids, less paladins - exchange as necessary depending on what you're facing on ladder :)

Greetings, Showlin here with another legend rank deck!

I ran this build all the way from 5th rank to legend so it's tried and tested again every kind of deck this season. The deck is pretty similar to other shaman decks and I must credit nuba for much of the inspiration (see http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/148599-nuba-top-20-na-legend-shaman). There aren't many shamans on the ladder - I saw 4 from rank 5 to legend - so I thought I'd give a more indepth guide.

Shredders have replaced harvest golems from old shaman times, harrison jones is in there, mainly for paladin matches but the all star MVP is Wild Pyromancer!!

This little guy does so much work in the current meta:

Hunter has undertaker, leper gnome, clockwork gnome?  --> Pyromancer earthshock!

Paladin musters? --> Pyromancer!

Dr doom? Pyromancer hex!

Implosion? Pyromancer!

Unleash the hounds / snake trap?? PYROMANCER!

He does so much work it's insane so give him a try :).

Guide for facing popular decks:

Generally you'll simply be mulliganing for early minions, flametounge and rockbiters and simply trying to out value your opponents with trading. Some more specific guideance is given bellow but please comment and ask questions and I'll respond.

Control warrior:  With the addition of big game hunter to counter doctor boom, this match is basically a free win - especially with Harrison. Play slooowww, take out medium minions with crackle and minions, save hex for late game legendaries and if you fall below 15hp make sure you always have one taunt up. Games can go long but you'll always win.

Warlocks: Since both varieties are equally prevalent mulligan is always difficult but earthshock is definitely important in both.  I tend to mulligan more for zoo as it seems a tad more common and the early game is much scarier.

Zoo - timing lightning storms is important, sometimes it is better to take face damage for a turn to get more value. Eventually you'll gain board control once fire elementals start coming down and taunts go up!

Handlock - big game hunter gives more answers to giants making this easier. Just watch out for their hellfire and shadowflame but don't hold back too much.

Mages: Mostly you'll be facing mech mage, which is quite difficult to stay alive. Keep lightning storm in the mulligan for board clear, get value trades drop big guys and start threatening lethal. You'll want to mulligan for removal like cackle and rockbiter to remove mechwarper before they get out of control!

Priests: Priests seem just as rare as shamans these days, there is little reason to worry about your own life total as they don't have burst. Get value trades and in this case since there are few late game minions hexing early is usually good! Fight for board control and you'll win eventually once the healing isn't enough!

Aggro Hunter: Popular on the ladder, you'll face a lot of these. Winning is mainly about guessing the traps correctly. Most hunters are running snakes or explosive so don't worry about freezing trap! If you know there's a snake trap don't attack the minions unless you've got pyro or lightningstorm to clear. Some find antique heal bot to be useful in this match but I personally prefer sludge belcher. Clear their board and burst them to 0!

Druids: All about board control here. If you have to hex an early sludebelcher or bear to do it then do so - I often keep a hex in the mulligan. You can get good value using lightningstorms or alakir to clear mulitple minions. In late game watch out for combo. Keep their board clear and taunts up!

Rogues: Pressure them. Try to get them to use a blade flurry early and you should be able to win. Pyromancer helps against violet teachers pets.

Paladins: Originally my toughest matchup before the addition of harrison jones and pyromancer. This matchup is one giant fight for board control and if you get it you'll win. Be wary of  the quatermaster, killing off the tokens is generally a good idea! Save one hex or silence for Tirion or possibly just kill him and harrison the weapon.

Any questions or comments are most welcome! :) Happy Shammying!
