Hey there! I've had great success with this deck, and wanted to share it with the community.
Mulligans:
I usually go for Undertaker ramp with deathrattles, or I try for an early Hobgoblin drop ramp.
Combos:
Hobgoblin ramp with any of the following: Webspinner, Undertaker, Timber Wolf, Stonetusk Boar.
(I've toyed around with Wisp & Target Dummy for an epic dream start ramp, but I've found Stonetusk Boar, Young Dragonhawk, or [card]Echoing Ooze[/card] to be more effective because synergy is better. And yes, Angry Chicken crossed my mind.)
Undertaker ramp with deathrattle minions
Cult Master with Unleash the Hounds and/or Snake Trap for card draw if need be.
There's a good amount of basic combos, that majority of you already know, that synergies well together that allow you to control the board and keep pressure up.
Additions:
I haven't really had much issues or problems with taunt minions. You can work around them pretty well, but you could add in an Ironbeak Owl
Playing around with other cards that work well with Hobgoblin and/or Undertaker can be theories. However, I've had tremendous success with this deck.
Last 50 Matches:
Feedback is greatly appreciated, I enjoy theorycrafting and deck building. Have fun, enjoy, and let me know how it goes! Thanks.

Progression NA 13:
R.I.P Undertaker
Undertaker was one of many plays with this deck. So I definitely agree with you. I will need to revisit this deck some more, and get back to you on an answer for that. I've been building a new deck that I'm going to post shortly after start of next season.
Hey, I haven't played this deck in a while. I'm glad you're having success with it! Usually when versed against ramp druid I was fortunate enough to have a freeze trap, so it was pretty much a land slide after that. When I was climbing, depending on what I was seeing I made adjustments to get by taunts and other various things that needed silenced or anything else. I've been working on a new deck for the current meta. I still think this deck viable, but not as great as it was early on in the season.
I was a little disappointed to see that Hobgoblin does not trigger its ability unless you are actually playing a 1 attack minion card. No benefits from it on Snake Trap, Unleash, or popping your Creepers. I played this deck for a couple hours last night and went about 50-50. So far it seems very RNG dependent on getting the right synergy draws, and is a little slow unless you can ramp Undertaker with a coin/1 drop. Like Zomgzzz, I also used a Misdirection instead of a Snake Trap and am liking the revision. Will keep on playing it the next couple of days. Thanks for sharing and am looking forward to the video.
I have the deck as listed and have lost 8 straight matches in a row. Swapped back to the other Hunter deck and I went on a 4 game winstreak.
This deck gets worked by: Priests, Shaman, Druids...oh man druids eat this alive, and just about any class (so all of them) that drops a turn 5 Sludge Belcher.
To call it a "gimmick" deck would imply one could actually win a game with it. While i appreciate stating it's a "Legend" deck...perhaps the META of the Rank 9-Rank 15 don't match because this deck is a waste of resources if you don't have the cards already. If you have the cards, then it's simply a waste of your time.
Be warned, if you're in the teens to 8/9...this deck is going to get countered pretty hard
I have to disagree. I just played this deck from 14-10 with only 1 loss. Still going.
Sorry to hear that you're not doing well with this deck. Don't really know what to say, I find priest, druid, and shaman to be the easiest matchups. Warrior is usually the hardest matchup unless you get great card draw synergy. I used a variant of this deck from 8-to-legend. I'm posting a how to video soon once my friend is done editing it for me. Hope it helps you out. But I've heard a lot more success than failures with this deck so far.
You can't expect to play this deck better than your other hunter deck because this one takes a lot more thought than most hunter decks. Your plays with face hunter and mid-range are usually laid out for you and often very obvious (don't even try to argue that they aren't). This one takes some restraint and is easy to play incorrectly.
That shouldnt ever happen. What matchups did you play, and how were you playing the deck? What rank are you? I'll be posting a how-to-play video soon. Sorry to hear about the losses =/
I faced this Hobgolin + Unleash + Wolf Combo yesterday.
It's insane.
But if your deck put so many 1 attack minions and it looks like to combo with Hobgolin.
Why don't you put 2 Hobgolins to make it easier to get it done?
I've updated deck revisons
Been having a lot of success with this deck, but I did make one change. -1 Snake Trap for +1 Misdirection. Misdirection has been key to winning games against opponents like ramp druids who play few but strong minions.
And 110% Win rate. Yes... Suuure.
I've found this deck to be very strong for my play style verse a lot of the current decks in the meta.
Thank you for this great deck, i tried at casual and won like 7-3.
How do you play this deck btw? try using hero power every turn, or gain board control by trading?
i am playing at asia. if i can play better, i may try it on rank(currently rank 4). but in asia i am facing like 40% of hunter and zoolock in total. do you think this would work in such meta?
Really depends on your matchup. I have a buddy putting together a video of how-to-play, but I find zoolock and other hunter matchups to be the easiest matchup. But sometimes it comes down to the card draw in those matchups. Look for the video, it will explain alot. Good luck on ladder :)
I tried making a hobgoblin deck, but didn't have much success. Just tried this deck out, (didn't have 2 snake traps, so just used 1 and added in a 2nd hobgoblin). and won 2 in a row. i'm curious to see how it does, the highest i could go trying to develop my own deck was rank 15. thanks!
Updated deck revisions, look forward to a how-to-play video coming soon.
how do you deal with taunts...there's too many in NA
Updated deck revisions. How-to-play deck video coming soon.
