- upcomming deck for season 10 http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/148990-slax335-combolock-under-construction
Combo
Main
Arcane Golem + 1x [card]Power Overwhelming[/card] + Faceless Manipulator = 16 dmg
Arcane Golem + 2x [card]Power Overwhelming[/card] + Faceless Manipulator = 24 dmg
also don´t use ur Combos alone "exeptional" 1x [card]Power Overwhelming[/card]
Semi
[card]Mistress of Pain[/card] , [card]Imp-losion[/card] or [card]Voidwalker[/card] with [card]Demonheart[/card]
Also [card]Bloodmage Thalnos[/card] + [card]Imp-losion[/card] have a possibility to hit for 5 and summon 5 Imps!
Restore Health
with 2x Siphon Soul , 2x Earthen Ring Farseer , 2x Antique Healbot u have 6+6+16 Health Restore so a maximum of 28 and also don´t forget [card]Alexstrasza[/card] but u should try to put ur enemy on lethal with her
Aoe / Board Clear
Hellfire can be used to set up for lethal!
Massive board clear [card]Twisting Nether[/card]
PS
becareful with the [card]Fel Cannon[/card] play it solo it hits ur own stuff use it with darkbomb to clear a 4 - 6 drop like Chillwind Yeti , [card]Sludge Belcher[/card]
I will play this alot its much better than zoo / handlock for me it reminds me to kolentos combo deck a lot so i hope u guys will have some fun with it also : )
Replacements ! (in construction)
[card]Bloodmage Thalnos[/card] = Kobold Geomancer or Loot Hoarder
[card]Baron Geddon[/card] = Pretty Hard u could try it with [card]Voidwalker[/card] or if u have him Dr. Boom seems to be a good replacement! For a 7 Mana drop or Sea Giant
[card]Alexstrasza[/card] = i Think its almost impossible to change her out maybe with Ragnaros the Firelord but for budged its pretty hard leave a comment if u know how to help out.
Twisting Nether = Sea Giant or even Lord Jaraxxus is a good replacement very cheap but still good Nerubian Egg
You could also put in ur combo twice Arcane Golem + Faceless Manipulator
Playstyle
Against aggro, survival is (obviously) the name of the game. Pray for your hellfire and don't bite too early. If he has just dumped his whole hand onto the field, then a hellfire is probably the right play. Especially if you can clear the deck (Thalnos helps, plus gives you another free draw). If he has 2 or 3 minions down and 3/4 cards in hand, then it might be better if you can eat another round to the face and clear whatever he chucks down on the following turn. I was burnt a few times when I thought i was getting great value from my hellfire only to see the board overrun the very next turn and being left with no answer. Use your judgement :)
Against control, tapping through the first couple of turns is generally okay. If you draw your 2 & 3 drops early then it can be okay(ish) to play them and try to establish a bit of early pressure. Typically you will see them removed instantly, so often the only real value they are providing is the added draw/heal. Power Overwhelming is one of our win conditions so this play can be damaging in itself (taking potentially 8 damage away from our burst finisher) but it might give you enough of a window to get into the winning position.
Hardest match ups are probably Warrior and Priest.

The single craziest deck I've ever seen in Hearthstone, compounded by the fact that it actually works!
I like this deck. Good job.
Dang I had an idea similar to this deck and then one of my friends told me it was already made.... Kudos to Darkwonyx for this fun and really good deck! This deck deserves more attention for sure!
What a creative deck!
I had a session with Dtwo recently and I brought up Darkwonyx and his unusual deck builds and his take on it was that Darkwonyx is so good that he makes these stranger decks work for him. I'd have to agree with him, you only have to watch the last couple of tournaments online to see where that chess background comes into play.
Been playing this consistently at rank 6 and 7.
I switched out Bloodmage Thalnos (because I don't have it) for an Ironbeak Owl and Baron Geddon for Dr. Boom. The owl was very useful to clear up deathrattles to set up for the twisting nether turn or for your letal the next turn.
As another piece of advice, tap as much as you (safely) can. The sooner you draw your combo you win, obviously, so you might as well use your drawing mechanism as much as you can. Tapping is better in most cases to playing an additional minion. Evaluate well how much damage you can take, how you can deal with upcoming threatand when you have to heal up, and go as much risk as you can, this deck definitely rewards it.
This deck is big pile of wannabe crap, you cant win with it, it wants to do everything but it can accomplish nothing, no tempo no punch nothing...,
Which is probably why a guy that makes a living playing this game at a competitive level wins games against people also making a living from the game using this deck right? Even the casters say it's a difficult deck to play but it's effective if you know the combos and nuances.
Zoolock is that way friend. Should be less taxing for someone of your comprehension.
Signed up just to comment on this deck, which I have been playing in the last few days.
First off, it's really fun. It's basically a subset of Miracle Rogue in that it focuses on controlling the board and chipping away at the opponent's life until the later phases of the game where you have assembled your 24 damage finisher and can end the game.
As many other people have done I have swapped out the Sludge Belchers for two [card]Arcane Nullifier X-21[/card] since more often than not my Fel Cannons ended up clearing the opponent's board and I was left with no option besides having them damage my Sludge Belchers. Arcane Nullifier X-21 is a mech which means it doesn't get targeted by Fel Cannons and it has the added bonus of being untargetable by spells. You could argue that if they decide to silence your taunt a 3/5 is more valuable than a 2/5, but I think we all know that generally not many people waste a silence on a taunt unless they have lethal on the board.
I also think having two Imp-losions is a bit counterproductive if we also want to run Fel Cannon since it gives it so many new targets. It's a useful and fun card since many opponents waste board clear on it, probably expecting a follow up play, but I don't know how well it fits in the deck.
Same thing for Voidwalker. It's okay to stop a couple of attacks but having only one seems inconsistent and I've never managed to have it stay on the board to use Demonheart on it.
Twisting Nether is a decent get out of jail free card since you're never gonna have a massive board presence with this deck and it's more or less your only way to come back from a lost game. It still wastes your entire turn and if the opponent can flood the board again right after it's pretty pointless. I would still keep it though.
The finishing combo seems too hard to get at first sight but with the massive life gain from the deck combined with the various control cards it's not hard to stay alive until you get it. You will only ever lose to aggro if you get the most horrible start and they get the perfect start (like a Hunter I played who managed to do 47 damage in 8 turns), and once they lose gas they will probably give up as soon as you start playing your life gain cards.
The biggest strength of this deck is the surprise factor. I have never seen anyone besides me play it on ladder and people aren't sure how to play around it. I think it has real potential though and I'd like to see how it can be refined.
Today I replaced nerubian egg and mistress of pain with doomsayers. It worked pretty well against aggro especially.
lol never mind just dropped from rank 13 to rank 17
mistress of pain is kind of bread and butter combo'd with Demonheart, I don't know why you'd replace it. Watch the video included or look up his recent tournaments where he pulled victories from nowhere with that combo. If you were having issues with aggro you're better off either putting more taunts in or playing Shadowflame.
Added Harrison Jones instead of that one void walker. The thing is soo many weapon users. And Harrison gives a nice boost to draw.
I have made a couple adjustments that have been helping me quit a bit. I replaced Void walker with Arcane Nulifier x-21. Not only is it a better taunt because you cannot cast spells on it or use hero powers, but it goes well with Fel cannon to keep it on the board a little longer for better control of the board. If the first change helps out, let me know if you want any more ideas for this deck. I love this deck, and this deck has brought me from rank 17 to rank 6. I am nearly hitting legend ranks because of it.
Hey thx for sharing this deck! I have no problem except against control warrior. Their armor and life total gets beyond combo range very quickly and the deck does not have many other threats outside of combo to take hitpoints down. Any suggestions?
Here you can see the deck in action. Thanks Slax335 for the decklist! :)
Hey I was wondering if there is replacement for twisting nether? I don't have this but I have all other cards
I really need to start a video of my games with this deck. just played against a priest and i was out of cards and low on life he took my Baron and not sure if he thought i would concede... problem was he was at 25 life. Baron dropped him to 23 and i unleashed the combo for 24 and the win. this beats the wins where i was at 2 and 4 health hands down! !!! i wonder how many people raged after losing to this... lol
Thanks a lot dude! Long time since a good as fun deck was posted.

Interesting.
