Welcome everyone to HostyBat's Rogue Decklist page! This is the deck Hosty used to win Deck Wars recently! This deck post is a part of my weekly Meta Report post on Reddit (link below)
Meta Report Week #2:
http://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/2plry3/quicksteros_meta_report_week_2/
Anyways, lets move on with the actual deck! So as you can see here, this deck is a combo between a tempo deck and the Rogue Mech deck which utilizes weapons in order to deal a ton of damage to your opponent and his/her board.
Important Cards:
Mechwarper - This is a card that you want to keep if it's in your starting hand. It's good to get your Harvest Golem and Arcane Nullifier X-21 out quickly
Tinker's Sharpsword Oil - This is the MVP of the deck. it creates huge board swings and can create a situation where you are threantening lethal in one turn.
Arcane Nullifier X-21 - This is probably one of the best mechs in the game. It causes a lot of trouble for classes who rely on spells to clear minions. Combo this with Tinker's Sharpsword Oil and the outcome is devestating.
Dr. Boom - Play it, its good. Nough said.

Say what you will about this deck, but to me it's the most fun deck I've ever played and I've tried everything. I'm not a great player, I've been as high as rank 5 with Handlock. But this deck is just fun and awesome. I tried Miracle rogue before the auctioneer nerf but it was just too much for me. This deck is way simpler but still has awesome holy sh*t combos. And at the same time way more involved than something like Zoo. Love it., best thing that ever happened to me in HS.
Atm im loosing everygame im playing with this deck, idk what is going on. My minions always die way too quickly.
Since i dont have Dr.Boom (a.k.a GvG Rag`s) im going to replace it for Ragnaros, what do you guys think?
fun deck, just cant win a game against control, to slow to clunky, rogue is dead for laddering , keep it that way
Do you think that Big Game Hunter is good sub for Cogmaster's Wrench?
Hosty actually made that change in his video guide below. I think it definitely is a good sub! :)
Hey guys, I made some gameplay video, so some of you can get a general idea of how to play this deck! I also did a deck tech so many of you would understand why each card is in the deck and I made a couple of substitutions as well according to my playstyle. My video has interactive buttons so anytime you want to proceed to the next game or skip the deck tech you can do so!
Match-ups in this video: 1) Control Priest 2) Aggro Hunter 3) Sea Giant Zoo, If you want more match-ups give me a shout!
I hope this is useful and I really love this deck even though it has a hard learning curve!
This deck is fun but I am trying to get a good feel for it. What are we suppose to mulligan for generally? Do we want the mechwarpers and then summon other mechs early game while we have weapons to clear out the board?
I don't have large amount of data to see whats wrong with my play style. Though, I do feel like I am running out of gas by turn 6 or 7. Lately, my last few matches have won by the draw of the card. It seems like if the opponent doesn't clear the board, there can be a huge punishment for the oil and minion buffed and potential clear board with the blade furry.
But does anyone run out of cards by turn 7 and hope for a sprint? Or I playing this deck all wrong?
Would it be okay to replace the sprints and preparation with just jeeves as a card draw engine? Or would it drastically change the deck?
Preparation is really useful to get the combo effect on Tinker's Sharpsword Oil as well and it's a play that comes up a lot.
I want to play this but I don't own 2x preparation and don't want to craft them. Is this deck playable without 2x preparation? If so, what would be best to substitute them for? Probably would take out the 2x Sprint as well since they probably only get played with a preparation, lol.
I only got 2 preparations lately and i had Iron Senseis in it instead... gives you additional boardcontrol + passive HP-protection since it is a high-priority target... 10 mechs for potential buff (12 if you count Boom Bots) give you enough value on this card...
slows this deck down quite a bit though... so you might have to wait a turn longer to burst your opponent down.
This is great deck. One of the best decs for Rogue after Auctioneer nerf.
This deck is awesome! I have not had this much fun playing rouge in a looong time!
I never had enough cards for miracle, and tempo and aggro rouge did not give good results
It feels soooo gross to sharpoil hit face with everything and blade flurry for the win
I swapped a sprint and prep for rag and another annoy o, so for doing great, rag helps to win games even when i didn't have the combo, annoy to deal with aggro
Amazing deck
Have some video how it's play ? ))
Legend and won a tournament.
I think that would be slow costing 3 mana because it's like zoo.
I think I just suck at Rogue... this deck is pretty cool.
The value is super clear, but I misplay way too much xD
Seems very solid, here's my upvote ! Wouldn't change a single card (that's very rare for me), good work from HostyBat and you for compendium ;)
