Got Legend with this build from rank 2 I believe (up to rank 2 I played Reno Hunter). Final boss was a Big Priest so the victory was glorious :)
What are the combos exactly?
Well Emperor Thaurissan while a bunch of low mana cards are in hand allows you to pull off huge bursts with Spawn of Shadows (you obviously need to play Raza the Chained and Shadowreaper Anduin first lol). Seance is for survival but you can use it on Thaurissan so you can get a double discount (a bunch of 0 mana cards with Spawn can kill pretty much anything as long as your HP is higher than theirs unless you want to draw).
Other than this basic game plan there really aren't any combos, you can get a Thaurissan tick on Flash Heal, Mind Blast, Prophet Velen and Auchenai Phantasm for 20 dmg but that's about it, this build is mostly for Aggro decks.
If you want combos, I suggest you take out 2 cards that you don't need and put in Mirage Caller/Vivid Nightmare and Regenerate. Phantasm, Mirage and Velen allow you to pull off 32 dmg with Flash Heal and Regenerate which means you don't have to search for Raza and Anduin.
Thanks Pathod!
Glad to see Raza Priest is still being used! It was my favourite deck of all time before nerfs (but it was super broken) and I love seeing all the Wild variants that come out. Thanks for sharing!
I hated it while it was un-nerfed loool, in Wild atm it's a fair and fun deck though, I think it would be ok nowadays in Wild even un-nerfed considering the power level of other meta decks, it would also make the Big Priest match-up much easier and wouldn't require setting up an OTK
Looks really nice, I love Raza Priest. Would love to see some gameplay, i struggle to find any gameplay at all :(
This is not my list, I found it on Hearthstone-decks.net and the guy who built it got to top 100 with it, so apparently it's pretty solid but sadly I don't think that player streams, I think he's just a top Asian player.
I only posted it after I got to Legend with it, like with most of the decks I post here just to show people it's possible, since the Legend meta is usually much different and is easier to climb with certain decks, I got to top 100 with Reno Hunter yet I couldn't move past rank 2 with it, you get my point.
Anyway you have some of my replays that I posted in a comment below if you're interested in game plans, mulligans etc.
I play Razakus too, yet I'm struggling a little.
1. What would be the great alternative for Thalnos?
2. Mulligans?
3. How do you play against druid or warrior? (insane armor)
4. Any tips? Useful tips?
Hello friend,
Off the bat, I didn't face much Druid or Warrior so I didn't tech for them, tech in Skulking Geist or Dirty Rat (if combo) for Druid or Archbishop Benedictus for Warrior (which I'm guessing is mostly Odd, since it's the only Warrior deck that wins against this) if you face them very often. Remember this isn't really a high tier deck, I suggest playing it in pocket Aggro metas, it does work well against most Control decks, even some combo decks (Psychic Scream is a great stalling tool if you don't run Dirty Rat, especially against decks like Shudderwock which play a bunch of useless tokens), but like I said, best play this in an Aggro meta to prey upon most decks :)
Bloodmage Thalnos serves mostly as a token for draw and Spirit Lash, you could try running Azure Drake if you don't want to craft Thalnos or simply put in Northshire Cleric.
Here are some replays so you can see how I played the games out, what I kept in hand etc.:

thanks a lot! I just have one more question: "I saw you play Velen not to kill your opponent or prepare for a lethal turn but just cause. I watched https://hsreplay.net/replay/jn86K6jruv9qk9k6rP9By7 and can you explain why did you and when to play velen?
Well, against Secret Mage your general plan is to survive, so I played him because:
1. There was no secret up, so he was safe from Explosive Runes
2. The play allowed me to punish him by regaining 12 health and board control
3. Playing Velen safely forces the opponent to waste 6 or 7 mana to remove him (Fireball or Cloud Prince + hero power) which is 6/7 damage that doesn't go to your face :D
Generally in the match-up when you get to the stage where you popped both Counterspells, you just use everything to heal yourself as you have enough removal to deem your opponent's minions useless.
