This is a deck based on the idea from Coo1Cat to beat control and bomb warriors to climb safely to rank 5 (before Saviours of Uldum hit), it also does extremely well against Aggro Shaman/Token Druid and Mech Hunter/Paladin. It is weak against OTK, which are rare in the current meta.

Coo1Cat reached legend with his own deck, I reached rank 5 and planning to stop there as I hate the grind to Legend. I have shifted some of the original deck cards and added my own cards as I found some of the original list too clunky:

Cards Removed:

  • Lightning Bolt: Never found a use for it, but I guess it can be handy against extreme aggro shaman and their Underbelly Angler
  • Witch's Brew I found two copies to be an overkill and you can always get a lucky 2nd copy from Bewitch
  • Bog Slosher too clunky and never found anything I really wanted to bounce
  • Swampqueen Hagatha another clunky and slow card that I never got to play even in control matchups
  • Mind Control Tech against aggro you are clearing their board continuously and against control they never really go that wide for you to require two copies, one is enough

Cards Added

  • Earth Shock a second copy is really useful in any matchup, be it aggro or control and it is a cheap spell that  you can toss if your hand size gets too big
  • Bloodmage Thalnos one of the best legendaries in the game, draws a card and lets you guarantee a strong lightning storm
  • Lightning Storm a second copy is needed to increase the odds of drawing it for aggro matches
  • Spellward Jeweler playing her on curve is never a bad thing, she saved me from a rare encounter against a Malygos Druid and OTK Shirvallah, the Tiger Paladin
  • Lifedrinker okayish body and decent heals midgame and later on with Shudderwock

-Edit: I didn't try this deck in September with SoU cards and went with Highlander Hunter (https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1308303-highlander-hunter-easy-climb-to-rank-5-september), since Control Warrior is not that dominant post Dr. Boom, Mad Genius nerf I think there is no reason to queue up with this deck anymore. However, I think it is still a strong deck and with a few tweaks it can definitely queue perfectly into Combo Priest & Quest Druid as well.
