Total Deck Rating

By far the best deck for ladder. Started from rank 4 to Top 1 (75-29, 72%).
2/9/2019: Early Legend
Got Legend from rank 25 on NA server in one day. Still the best deck for ladder. Here are my stats :
Got Legend from rank 25 on Asia server too. This time i tried some diferent versions so the winrate isn't so high. In coclusion Zentimo is very very bad so don't play him. In about 130 games i played with him it actually won me only 2 games and lost much much more. Second Earth Shock and second Feral Spirit are pretty close but Feral Spirit is a bit better because is decent Vs hunters and paladins but much better Vs all other classes. If you face too many paladins hunters though you can consider playing 2 Earth Shock. Here are my stats :
GAMEPLAY:
A lot of people seems to get difficult with this deck and want to see how i play so here is some of my games. The best way to do this , so you can practise , is to pause the video think what you are going to do in this situation and see what i did. Have in mind that all the games are top 100 and higher so i play against people that are pretty good at this game.

(Even tough this is Pogo rogue this is exacly how you should play the rogue matchup. I dint play the Sludge Slurper at turn 1 because i saw 3 turns ahead , taking value with Unbound Elemental and Likkim to remove rogue 3 health minions)

(Here i misscount and tough that if i did Zap! and got from Spirit of the Frog the Lightning Bolt i would have lethal but it was 1 off. It's a slighty missplay but you kinda understand how you can find lethal's if Spirit of the Frog is on board , so have that in mind and count correct :P)

Unfortunately i dont have the warlock vods because i was playing on phone. It was only one matchup though at top 100. The zoo matchup is similar to token druid just to have an idea how it goes.
I hope this will help you understand better the deck and the mulligan i do and why Underbelly Angler is one of the best cards in this deck.
First let me say this is probably the hardest deck in this meta because you have to play 2 turns ahead cause of overload and it has probably the hardest mulligan a deck ever had in hs. I will try to explain as good as i can , but you will need to play it a lot to get used to it and the mulligan it has.
Lets start with how this deck works first. You want to play some early minions so you can pressure him till you kill him with your burst. Its not a token deck you only need minions for pressure so you can kill him with your burst , so bloodlust is a NO in this deck.
Control warrior is the worst matchup , so if you face a lot of control warriors try to avoid playing this deck. Other than that everything else is beatable with hunter being the best matchup.
If you attack with likkim you can equip the same turn doomhammer and attack one more time with doomhammer. Its a trick a do sometimes to push more damage and can be your exact lethal someday so have that in mind.
A big tip is to not overtrade. I have seen lot of people losing a game they should have won by going face but they trade instead. That's a hard thing to understand when you go for face or trade and the only way to learn it is by playing the deck and learn from your mistakes so you dont do them again.
Electra Stormsurge is a core in this deck. It gives you reach in games you should win. Electra Stormsurge into Lava Burst is a 10 damage combo that passes taunts. Electra Stormsurge into Rockbiter Weapon with equiped Doomhammer is a 16 damage combo. Electra Stormsurge into Feral Spirit is a full board and most of times auto win vs aggro/token decks (but you shouldn't only focus on this combo whenever you see this kind of decks , you should do it when it's worth it and you will undestand that only by playing the deck). Electra Stormsurge into Lightning Bolt or sometimes Zap! clears Zilliax (which is the most played card) without procing his heal.
Spirit of the Frog is the best card in this deck. It allows you to draw specific cards in an aggro deck and when it's played is 99% alive the next turn because of the stealth. If you have The Coin consider keeping till turn 3 to play it with Spirit of the Frog because it draws you a free 1 mana spell card.
Thunderhead was before buffs pretty good but after buffs is just too strong. The 5 to 6 health makes a huge difference because now it can't die from almost nothing if you play it for tempo at 4 and vs aggro decks and mirrors is one of the most important cards. Even vs warrior is good if you have pressed him early and has no armor at 4 and no board because 90% they cant remove it.
Underbelly Angler is one of the best cards in this deck that people tend to not undestand it. All you need is one other Murloc and you basically have one big flexible hand/board refill. You’ll draw those two Murlocs eventually and you have plenty of plays to make while you wait. It is also such a big target that your opponent will use their resources inefficiently to remove it, helping you stick an Unbound Elemental / Thunderhead down the line. And quite a few classes have no way to remove it if they didn’t draw a 1-drop and you’re on coin. All of that in a good stated minion. So try to find him on mulligan but always play him at 2 (unless you have a better play this turn) even without murloc follow up.
Doomhammer is your main sourse of damage vs Control decks.
Mulligan:
So the hard part. Almost everything can be a keep in this deck and the mulligan changes if you have The Coin or not.
Spirit of the Frog is always a keep if you have The Coin because it draws you one free card with The Coin. If you don't have The Coin and you play vs control you always keep it too but if you play vs aggro decks is not always a keep. if you have some early minions and removal i would keep it othrewise i might wouldn't keep it.
Thunderhead with The Coin is always a keep vs aggro/token decks and almost always vs warrior. If you dont have The Coin it's still always a keep vs aggro decks and some times vs warrior if you have something to play earlier so you keep his armor at 0 and the board clear so they can't remove it.
Underbelly Angler is always a keep if you have The Coin and it is what you are looking for vs all classes. You always use The Coin to play Underbelly Angler at turn one if they didnt play a minion and you have murloc to follow next turn (only rogue and shaman can remove it early so have that in mind). If they dont remove and you follow up with murloc especially another Underbelly Angler you probably win the game. I tend to keep it vs all classes and without The Coin for the highroll potentional to stick into a murloc follow up.
Doomhammer is never a keep vs aggro having The Coin or not. Vs control if you have The Coin you almost always keep it if not you keep it some times if you have good early hand.
Unbound Elemental is very strange and its kinda of experience of when you keep it or not. I tend to keep it some times if i have a good curve The Coin with combination of some cheap overload spells. Vs the conjurer mage is where i find having the most value keeping because they very rarely can remove it.
Likkim is always a keep vs aggro decks especially rogue. Vs control decks i tend not to keep it.
Lightning Bolt is sometimes a keep vs rogue because they have many 3 health minion.
Zap! is a keep only with combination with Thunderhead vs aggro and not always tough.
Earth Shock is a good keep vs mech decks only.
Voltaic Burst is rarely a keep vs aggro decks.
Sludge Slurper is almost always a keep unless you play vs rogue and you are on The Coin then you might considering not keeping but even there most of the times its pretty good. Dont always play it on turn 1 because you get overloaded. Like if you have Likkim and Sludge Slurper and you play vs rogue pass first turn Likkim second turn and play sludge slurper on turn 3 so you can abuse the weapons bonus damage to remove a 3 health minion rogues are playing. That's not always the way to go it's just an example to get what im saying about and it depends on your hand.
Feral Spirit is overvalued and overkept most of the times. Don't keep it always if you play against aggro decks it's not that good as it seems. I tend to keep it sometimes when i have The Coin and i play against aggro decks. There are more important cards in your deck so consider if your hand is good before keeping it. If i don't have The Coin i almost never keep it.
Earthen Might is very rarely a keep and only if i am on The Coin with Sludge Slurper or Voltaic Burst at turn 1 so i can coin it at turn 2 and the enemy class doesn't have an asner for my 1 drop. Don't use Earthen Might only on elementals. A lot of times pushing damage or getting a better trade with a non elemental minion is better than a random elemental especially vs aggro.
You never keep Rockbiter Weapon , Lava Burst and Electra Stormsurge.

I took out the doomhammer burst package because it performed pretty bad in this meta. Meta decks at the moment are kinda unfavored for burst shaman and token decks are almost unbeatable without some board control ( like murloc paladin) . These additions fixes most of the matches , even the warrior matchup , and in my opinion is the best shaman list out there atm. Burst shaman can still work but this one just feels better until something on the meta change. I will update the guide if that ends up the final version of aggro shaman because the meta is far from stable and nerfs probably coming soon to mage and warrior.
Your winrate against hunter is insane. How even? mine is 50-50 at best
first of all this deck is dope af and get me to rank2 and im kinda struck rightnow. i need some guidance when facing mech pala and control hunter with their annoying lifesteal raptor(except for war con these two deck r pain in the axx) and the last thing is i couldnt find feral spirit useful at all most of the time i use it just to get some overload combo. **tip when facing war con saving two underbelly for late game help alot** anyway really good deck having alot of fun with it and sorry for my grammar tho
I'm glad you enjoy it. One tip i could give you without knowing if you do it or not , when you play against a lifesteal deck and you set him lethal dont play this turn anything on board if it's possible so the lifesteal doesn't proc (odcourse vs mech decks you need to have clear the board too but you get the point). Some times is usefull to push a board later on but i almost never save angler for that. I play him tempo because pushing even the 2 damage is better than a board warrior can clear. They tend to give removals to him lot's of times so an unbound elemental / thunderhead can stick on board more easily.

I've been playing a list that's 6 cards off from this deck for over a month now (Southsea deckhand, Dire Wolf Alpha & Menacing Nimbus instead of Underbelly angler, Unbound Elemental and Feral Spirits) . Glad to see people picking up on miracle shaman, I was beginning to feel like a crazy person for running it.
Might try out this list later, the deckhands have definitely felt sub-optimal.
I also find it curious that you say hunter is your best matchup. For my version it's definitely mage (80/20 last season), with hunter around a 60/40 favourable.
Changing Underbelly Angler which is one of the best cards in the deck gonna make the deck much worse. If you submit Unbound Elemental and Feral Spirit too which are great cards then you have a much weaker deck than this one an dits logically not winning so much against hunter. Try this list , watch the clips and you gonna undestand what im saying.
It's a tradeoff. Having more Turn 1 and 2 plays makes matchups against decks w/o early plays even more onesided and gives you better game against tokens and zoo. The downside is that pirate is not a one-drop you want to play into an eternium rover, mecharoo or turn two hero power when going second.
Regarding Angler vs. Nimbus, again, it's a tradeoff +1 health and potential to generate murlocs versus a guaranteed elemental and potential to generate one more with earthen might. I like the idea of Angler, because the health is certainly relevant, but with only 4 murlocs in the deck it seems to me it's just a river croc or arcane servant in many games. Random elementals are often what wins me games vs warrior in particular b/c they allow me to put stats on the board w/o committing "real" cards, not to mention potential highrolls like generating a second electra, celestial emissary or Al-Akir for extra burst damage they can't account for.
I'm sorry but you have undestand it wrong. What you say it's not a tradeoff but a much weaker deck. You dont make your early better you just weaking much more and not only you weaken your early but you weaken your late too because those cards are so bad top decks unlike the cards you take off for them. The angler has no discusion if you play it or not. If you dont play it standalone makes the deck MUCH MUCH MUCH weaker. It's like playing the old tempo rogue or zoo without keleseth. No its not just a tradeoff of one life , angler is by far the best 2 drop in the game. It has the keleseth potential but much stronger if you have him on turn 2 with another murloc and the opponent HAS to remove it even if you don't have any follow up because they simple dont know that so they make bad trades and giving removal on a two drop allowing unbound elemental and thunderhead to stick on board. nimbus compared to angler is just uncomperable. Is like trying compare keleseth to every other 2 drop. And the elemental highroll is just irreleavant. Like when you play the earthen might you dont care about the random elemental. Especially if i need to play a bad body for just on average mediocre genarated card. Plus the one only crates 1 mediocre card when the other can crate as much you want with premioum stats. And the angler into murloc is happening pretty often its not a rare thing. If you watch the replays i have put you gonna undestand it by yourself.
Oh grow up. For you to compare my deckbuilding decisions to cutting Keleseth from a Zoo deck, especially after I spent a paragraph explaining why Angler and Nimbus are analogous, is frankly just an insult. There is no other 2 drop that does anything like what Prince Keleseth does. Nimbus and Angler are both 2 drops that generate a random minion(s) from [tribe]. If you want to argue by analogy, find a better analogy.
To act like there is no tradeoff in your deckbuilding decisions is likewise moronic, especially after you've been informed that an alternative list does better in certain matchups. You can argue that your build is better suited for the present meta, has a better winrate against the expected field, whatever, but to claim it is *strictly* better is just a pigheaded denial of facts and stats. Your deck has no 1 drops that it actually wants to play on turn 1, and only Angler and Likkim on 2. Obviously that's going to cost some percentage points against Zoo and murloc shaman. Now that may still be the best decision, but to act like there is no downside attached whatsoever is childish.
Any reasonable deckbuilding decision, and most things in life generally, involves a compromise. That's why even at the end of a season there are still dozens of small variations on all the major decklists. Whether rock, paper or scissors is superior depends on what element your opponent chose.
You compare a mediocre card like nimbus with angler which is probably the second best card in this deck and by far the best 2 drop in the game atm and one of the best ever printed. I can pretty easily tell you that the keleseth highroll at 2 or early turns winrate , which was why you was running this card in specific decks, is much worse than the angler into murloc highroll winrate , which happens pretty often. And all of that without the restriction of not playing 2 drops. So yeah angler is far better than keleseth was. Far more as i said the one creates just a random card without synergy when the murlocs can create murlocs for lots of turns with synergy. Yes this list is stricly better and that's a fact. My game sample is 250+ games with almost 72% winrate, after the buffs , which tells that the specific deck works great in the meta , if you play it correctly ofcourse. From that sample you have no bad matchups except the warrior one. And there is absolutly nothing you can do to make the matchup against warrior strictly better. The deck you play doesnt needs 1 drops to succeed , and you should undestand that if you have the experience with it that i have , which seems you lack off and that's the point of your aggresion. I can tell you when i created this deck like 7-8 months ago till now i have checked EVERY SINGLE card could be viable in this deck. and when i mean EVERY CARD i mean EVERY CARD. After all the deck buildning and playtest this is BY FAR the best aggro shaman list you can find out there and that's why is stample and dont need any card changes for this specific meta.
that didnt work for me. anayway, gr8 deck!
You have to attack with likkim then with doomhammer, it doesn't work the other way around. It's something that has been possible since the beginning of HS, you can do it with any weapon + doomhammer.
The Windfury ability is on the Doomhammer, not the hero. Once it breaks, you lose the ability to attack twice, so the only way you get a second attack is with the DH (still) equipped.
Exacly that , you have to attack with Likkim first and then with Doomhammer to work. It can't work the other way.
but it didnt ^^
maybe the bug/feature only occurse with activated likkim? mine was at 1 attack
No it doesn't matter the attack your weapon has , you can attack once with any weapon you have and then one more time with doomhammer if you equip it. You probably missed something in the order , if you do it that way you gonna see it works
Yes, I think its like 80% of my wins with this deck I didnt even play Electra. :-)
[deck]Deck ID or Code[/deck]
Nice, tnx man :)
Does this deck work without elekra?
It can win ofcourse the core is still there , but Its one fo the core cards of the deck. It does so many things from getting wins you shouldn't , getting full board , clear without procing heal etc. Imo you should craft her.
