Been playing on the ladder (Legend rank 550 - 300).
I'm 14 - 9 with this deck and it seems really good. This is the best iteration so far, but I plan to keep tweaking it if needed.
Starting hand and opponent class play a BIG factor.
The important thing is that you will crush all Warriors and most Rogues. Summoner Mage is a difficult matchup, and Shamans that run Hex are the most difficult.
Mulligan for Sword of Justice, Call to Adventure, and High Priest Thekal.
Any of those in your starting hand is a big advantage. Paragon of light is also usually a keeper.
This may seem strange but DO NOT KEEP 2 MANA CARDS in your starting hand.
Healing is your Win against fast (aggro) decks and Recurring Villians are your Win against slow (control) decks.
This is a super fun deck imo, especially since it counters a lot of the meta.
Good luck with the deck, enjoy!
Err, well it seems to lack aoe. And removal. And card draw, but other than that...
Like I seriously don't see what you're supposed to do against a mage board full of giants, any token deck that can buff past 3 health (all of them) warriors with eleventy billion extremely card efficient removals ect...
Played this more and have realized it is not really good anymore. The new bomb warrior beats it easily, shaman murloc or control beats it consistently as well and of course so does mage. I wanted to get a good pally deck but it just does not compete. Kudos for the idea but back to the drawing board. Unfortunately pally has no good card to make their hero power awesome like shaman and warrior either so it is really not a balanced field at this time.
I have played the deck a lot in the last couple days. It does well versus warrior and priest where I have time. But i have almost no chance maybe 10-15% versus Mage and token druid as i have no consistent removal for the big guys or the tokens. The Faceless manipulators are essential to the deck. They copy villains, immortals or opponent's really good creatures. Versus warrior you wait and copy your immortal on the same turn. Normally i draw a few bombs early take some damage and heal back up so Blastmaster has not been a huge problem. Argus is a bit slow and usually I have to make a token and cast him using 6 mana to get two targets. But i try to hold him until a villain dies with no weapon as a 3/6 then I Argus him back to 4 power. It is very fun but i am not sure what to do versus Mage other than Shrink in place of Peacekeeper and Sound the Bells is often not very effective. Using Shirvallah in place of Sound the Bells now so will see and 1 shrink ray for the peacekeeper.
A lot of cards seem weird to me : Does Argus often hits 2 targets ? seems hard to hit 2 targets with this deck. Why the faceless manipulators ? And the weapon seem hard to get value from with so many decks running weapon removal. Also, you just lose instantly if warrior plays a silence right ?
Relies too much on sword of justice. you don't get it fast the game gets tough.
Kindna have good feeling about this deck. But I really need guide because i lose 3 matches in a row. I know play it wrong somehow, and when i use Call to Adventure , I often got Crystalsmith Kangor. Should I get Immortal Prelate instead ? no ?
Ps. I replace Harrison Jones with Zandalari Templar since I don't have it.
I replaced the Peacekeeper with Big Game Hunter but otherwise deck is working well. Wanted a better chance versus Big mage.
Do you think it would be userful to add Shivallah? In that case, which of the cards would you replace? Looking forward to try this deck!
Really like the deck so far, went from Rank 13 to Rank 10 without losing a single game.
Will keep playing this deck for sure, thanks!
Really cool deck, and actually wins too. Thanks for posting.
What about shrivallah in this deck? has so many spells seems like It could fit
Looks nice! any replacements for Da Undatakah?
Firebat played against this deck in his latest video.
I faced someone playing it it was really hard !!!, love the idea of this deck
currently paladin struggle a lot in the meta , I 'm playing a secret , meca deck went to rank 4 but struggling a lot with rogues and there is plenty of them , I guess it's time to switch to something else :)
