By using Spirit of the Frog, we're able to consistently pull out damaging spells which contain our cards featuring Overload. This in turn can provide us with additional tokens if we have Thunderhead active, extra stats for our friendly Unbound Elemental, or bonus attack on our Likkim. Then once we get off a turn with solid, cheap spell casts, we can drop down Krag'wa, the Frog to start another, more powerful cycle.
We've also got access to a nasty combo through Electra Stormsurge and Lava Burst.
This really isn't an easy deck to make work, against aggro decks you end up using all your spells in inefficient ways and against slower druid / warrior they gain too much armour to make the spell aggro effective.
I swapped out one Thunderhead for a Haunting Vision. It works well with getting a 0 cost card to start the chain again with a frog spirit out and can get some cards not in the deck like hex or earth shock.
0-5 so far. This deck seems to beat nothing
I wasn’t winning with it either until I watched Trump’s video on how to play it. That made all the differnence. I think it’s pretty decent and fun actually. If you have Doomhammer equipped, you can be holding 16 damage in your hand just with two Rickbiters. I’m actually not using Krag’wa, so it’s not exactly the same version. I’m using the one with the highest win rate in HS replay. I’ve won against Odd Rogue, Odd Paladin, Quest Rogue and Secret Hunter. I have not beaten Warrior or Druid with it and multiple taunt minions, especially on the larger side, can put Doomhammer to sleep.
I haven’t made a frog deck, but i’m Interested to see how it works. A video showcase would be great.
