Version 2 Update: I have removed majority of heals and Happy Ghoul to focus more on Buffs and Divine Shield. The focus of this deck now is to try and get Prince Keleseth out quickly, get a bunch of Divine Shield minions out, maintain board with them, and use Blood Knight and Dinosizeas the win conditions.
Mulligans: Prince Keleseth is number 1 mulligan. Any 1 drops are bonus.
Argent Squire: Divine Shield fodder and trade/face minion.
Righteous Protector: Your front line defender.
Prince Keleseth: Your turn 1 or 2 deck buff.
Blood Knight: Eater of Divine Shields. Best when Bolvar, Fireblood is out. He's also good at eating your opponent's Divine Shield.
Divine Favor: This deck needed some card draw.
Stoneskin Basilisk: Threat removal.
Unidentified Maul: In America, you can hit the mall. In Hearthstone, the Maul can hit you. Great for mass Divine Shield buff followed by a Blood Knight.
Annoy-o-Module: Annoying defender and best buds with Annoy-o-Tron.
Chillblade Champion: Value trade and Lifesteal
Corpsetaker: Good card to take advantage off all the Taunt, Divine Shield, and Lifesteal.
The Glass Knight: With all the heals, why wouldn't this guy be here?
Truesilver Champion: Weaponized Face n Heals.
Bolvar, Fireblood: Great with all the Divine Shields in the deck. Best played before Blood Knight.
Fungalmancer: Good group buff.
Giggling Inventor: Popular annoying defender maker.
Zilliax: Threat removal, Defender, Heals, Buff, restores Divine Shield.
Dinosize: Face masher
I like to thank all the complements and criticisms from everyone. 3 days ago I was surprised to see that so many people up voted my deck. Thank you.
With all the suggestions I have read, I have modified my deck and will be posting the changes when I get home later tonight. I have removed most of the healing minions and focused more on Divine Shields and Buffing. So far I am happy with the changes.
Again thank you all.
Wouldn’t Fungalmancer and Cristalogy make some sense in this deck?
I really like the concept of the deck, but would replace some cards in favour of;
Tirion Fordring
2x Corpsetaker (great with Zilliax and Tirion Fordring)
2xPotion of Heroism (so you can have a guaranteed Divine Shield when playing a Blood Knight)
1x or 2x Equality
remove Bolvar, Fireblood and 1 Ghostly Charger and add 2 Divine Favor
Seems cool, especially when you have all those Paladin legendaries that you don't know what to do with! It's like a tempo orientated heal-lock.
Given the strong healing synergy, making room for Lightwarden will help with early board control or give an early threat. That said, given its more tempo orientated than heal-lock, I feel like its still missing its late game threat. I'm not sure Blessing of Kings is enough. I will play around and let you know :)
Also, I'm wondering if Prince Keleseth might be worth it, or otherwise some more two-drops are probably required!
