This deck came about as a simple experiment utilizing Countess Ashmore to draw Ghostly Charger, Chillblade Champion and of course, Tirion Fordring. As time passed however, I began to realize that there was a viable deck in the making.

Continuing with this line of thinking, I began to create a deck that made great use of these cards, eventually adding Prince Keleseth and Sword of Justice to capitalize on minor buffs with these cards.

Paragon of Light was an easy inclusion to reward buffs, in fact almost every card in this list can make great use of Keleseth's buff.

Another cool and interesting synergy is the dynamic between Truesilver Champion and The Glass Knight. The Glass Knight is also used to amazing effect in this deck, gaining Divine Shield from the potential healing of Paragon of Light and Chillblade Champion, as well as the aforementioned Truesilver Champion, so it was a natural fit for the deck.

I debated adding Lynessa Sunsorrow but it would prove ineffective with so few direct buffing spells.

While I do not have an approximate win rate, I have had favorable matches against the ever popular Shudderwock Shaman, Odd Paladin and even Deathrattle Hunter, but you'll just have to take my word on that.

This deck has limited flaws, and I have no reason to doubt you could climb to a very high rank with this deck, if not legend. This deck however, would suffer greatly in a more aggressive meta, but it might be what you need right now to stun the currently popular decks.

Favourable Matchups:

This deck performs well against other mid-range and control decks that are dominating the meta at the moment. The deck can still win against aggressive decks granted you can make good use of the Lifesteal from Chillblade Champion and Paragon of Light in particular.

Specific Matchups Guide:

Deathrattle Hunter: Ensure that you are able to maintain board control before Deathstalker Rexxar is played, and that you draw either Consecration or the healing cards in the deck to top up health. Without any silence effects, the deck relies on being able to kill their more sticky deathrattles with bigger minions before Carnivorous Cube can duplicate them.

Odd Paladin: Trade aggressively into Silver Hand Recruits and keep up card advantage without making yourself vulnerable to Divine Favor. You shouldn't have much difficulty defeating Odd Paladin with enough taunt minions like Saronite Chain Gang or a buffed Paragon of Light.

Cubelock: Your best strategy with Cubelocks is to burst them down, you cannot survive Bloodreaver Gul'dan by any means, so maximise the number of buffs applied and pray you draw Prince Keleseth. Work off the idea that most Cubelocks will severely underestimate your burst capacity, so hold onto bigger buffs like Blessing of Kings you need them.

Odd Rogue: Avoid creating large minions to dodge Vilespine Slayer and Plague Scientist. Prepare boards big enough to kill Hench-Clan Thugs and Vicious Fledgling but otherwise you shouldn't face too many difficulties in taking them down.

Token Druid: In my opinion, this deck will be your hardest opponent. Maximise Consecration kills and leave them with an almost empty board if possible. Spread out taunts and avoid trading your Lifesteal minions. Force your opponent to get little use out of Branching Paths and Savage Roar as humanely possible essentially.

Shudderwock Shaman: While your opponent is in a race for time to piece together their combo, exploit their greatest weakness: a lack of defenses. You won't have any trouble playing for the board so instead focus on chip damage and doing as much early face damage as possible. Shudderwock Shaman can be very difficult to beat because of board clears like Volcano and Lightning Storm but with enough face damage you can force them to use these earlier on, saving you time to kill them before they can play Shudderwock.

Card Replacements:

The Glass Knight, Tirion Fordring, Val'anyr: Harrison Jones, Azalina Soulthief, Corpsetaker or The Lich King.

Sword of Justice: Equality or Corpsetaker.

Prince Keleseth: In this case, you may choose to add Call to Arms and Vicious Scalehide to replace Acolyte of Pain or Righteous Protector.

Ending Note:

Enjoy the deck, and please leave me feedback if you end up trying it.

Update #1: I recently replaced Rotten Applebaum with Val'anyr and The Lich King, which should improve the deck quality substantially.

Update #2: With the positive response to the deck, I am considering creating an updated version of the deck for the Boomsday Project, but we'll just have to see the full set and cards Paladin receives this expansion to see if it would be viable.

Update #3: There were a number of suggestions to do with Cobalt Scalebane and I noticed this in my own games, I have made the following changes. Thank you so much to everyone who has tried out the deck and made a comment, your suggestions and comments were invaluable.

- 2 Cobalt Scalebane +1 Bolvar, Fireblood, +1 Lost in the Jungle

Update #4: I have noticed that with the inclusion of Bolvar, Fireblood, the deck was short of a few Divine Shield minions. I also believe that The Lich King, while an amazing card, was simply too slow to include in the deck, as the biggest weakness was aggressive decks, as well as not being drawn by Countess Ashmore, unlike Tirion Fordring and otherwise not benefiting much from buffs.

- 1 Lost in the Jungle, -1 The Lich King, +2 Argent Squire

Update #5: I have created a new and updated version of the deck now that the Boomsday Project is upon us, which I previously mentioned. The new deck, Keleseth's Endless Army, can be found here: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1162127-keleseths-endless-army
