With Genn Greymane reducing the cost of the Mage hero power to 1 mana, Inspire cards are playable now!
The aim of this deck is to take advantage of Garrison Commander and Coldarra Drake to hero power as much as possible while utilizing powerful Inspire effects and getting your Frost Giants out for cheap or free.
Fallen Hero gives you 2 damage hero power for 1 mana and is great for controlling the board in the early game. Combine it with Garrison Commander or Ice Walker early on is even better.
If you can get a Dalaran Aspirant to stick with 2-3 hero powers, Frostbolt, Fireball, and Blizzard become devastating for your opponent.
Tournament Medic is your anti-aggro tool. Even with its 1 attack you can clear 1/1 tokens or pop a Divine Shield and heal your hero each turn. Combine with Garrison Commander to double your healing and clear even more 1/1 tokens.
Mid to late game you will look to set up a big Kodorider turn or Coldarra Drake turn. If your opponent allows Coldarra Drake to live you have 10 damage to deal on your next turn with your hero power or 16-20 damage with Fallen Hero!
During this big turn you will most likely be able to play 1-2 Frost Giants for free.
Echo of Medivh is great to play at any point you have 3+ minions on the board so you can refill your hand. Copying a Kodorider or Coldarra Drake can be amazing.
Barnes is included since there are so many good targets to pull out of your deck: Fallen Hero, Garrison Commander, Ice Walker, Dalaran Aspirant, Coldarra Drake, Kodorider, The Lich King.
Fun when it works - heck I beat a priest with my Dalaran Aspirant(s) by shooting 1 fireball that did 13 damage (I had Garrison Commander on board and threw down the 2nd Dalaran Aspirant to get to 13).
However, losses badly to Big Priest and a number of other decks that can handle your board.

The deck is creative but less competitve than the usual ones ;-) 40 percent winrate, that's 20 percent less than my normal winrate. Nice to play but if you want to compete with actual decks try something else...
I have a 75% winrate at the moment and a 6 game winstreak. It has a 54% winrate overal on hsreplay.net. It is less competitive, but you can climb the ladder
Why didnt you put Justicar Trueheart in this deck?
Hm, now that i think about it, event decks could actually make Inspire great, using your hero power was always so costly tempo-wise, having it cost 1 mana makes a lot of plays better, not to mention you can do it on the odd turns, where you "have to" fill it anyways, i like the idea behind this a lot! Im interested to see what other classes can do with Even Inspire decks.

I love this. I've always really enjoyed inspire mechanics and used to run Kodorider in control shaman back in the day. I'd be interested in running a second Echo as if you could get free Frost Giants you could play 2, Echo, play 2 more and then Echo for 4 8/8's and a hand of 4 more. However, I'm not sure it would be worth holding out for that.
I've been playing a very similar deck but I ran an all minion package (arugula + book of scepters) and mech package. It actually worked pretty well coldara drake's the mvp. I like your deck a lot more though!

I love how there are players finding synergies within the hearth of the cards. More will come as more cards move to wild.

Maybe Archmage Arugal or Dollmaster Dorian to get an extra copy of one of your valuable minions?
