Hey Guys! Soap here. This is my first post and first deck to put online so I hope you either like it or have really good constructive comments on it!
After opening Genn, I began to look for different decks to make. I settled for Even Spell Damage Rogue and loved it but felt that other off-meta and fun decks could be made. So, I went and looked up one of my favorite archetypes - Dragon Warrior - and saw that there was no Even build for it. I decided to take some initiative and I made one myself.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I created the deck to try a fun twist on an archetype I enjoyed, something that would be difficult and offmeta - but still enjoyable. This is definitely not a deck I would recommend if your only end goal is to climb. If you have any opinions on how to make running Genn more viable for competitive play, please do comment them!
Definitely a thumbs up for trying something new since not a lot of people do. However, I am struggling currently with this deck as I don't detect a clear win condition apart from potential value grinding. It's sad that there is no way to utilise your armor gain. To fix that consider adding in Geosculptor Yip.
A small update with a mini guide on how to play this deck would be appreciated ~ just to give direction in case I'm missing something.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of town. This deck functions a lot like most mid range decks you'll find, and throughout the game you'll rely on a lot of the removal options given by the various dragons. These dragons not only give you surprisingly strong board presence, but also clear away a lot of pressure given by the opponent. Late game offers Ragnaros the Firelord for face and board pressure, and Deathwing for the same function. I setElise Starseeker as a really fun win condition. Having a bunch of legendaries at your disposal can cause a lot of mayhem and upsets for you opponent. I'll try a few games with Geosculptor Yip and let you know results when I do. Once I get settled back in at home, I will be happy to provide a guide.
