Hello everybody!

My name is Oggsunited and i am pleased to release my Combolock deck. The reason i decided to upload this deck, is that it differs majorly from the majority of Warlock decks out there (eg: Handlock/Zoolock) while still staying competitive in the current meta. This decks focuses mainly on small synergies between many cards hence the name Combolock and also gains a little bit of an advantage as people are not prepared against this deck. If you do decide to try this deck please leave your opinion in the comments section.

Changelog:

5/10/14:

-Earthen Ring Farseer x1/+Chillwind Yeti x1

Reason: Earthen Ring Farseer was a great filler card that fit well in the deck but i feel that Chillwind Yeti could improve Priest match-ups and yields well against other types of decks.

Gameplay:

As i mentioned before this deck is mainly about small/medium synergies throughout the game to give you an edge throughout the match. You can play the deck aggresively or controlling depending on your hand, match-up and playstyle.

Synergies:

Deathrattle:

This deck contains 10 deathrattle minions so undertaker is a great addition to the deck and should be played as early as possible.

Enraging:

Dread Infernal and Unstable Ghoul are great for activating your Acolyte of Pain and Raging Worgon and allow you to get the most value out of these cards. Incidentally these effects are also good to break open you're Nerubian Egg.

Nerubian:

The Nerubian Egg is such a great card in this deck as it synergizes well with many cards in the deck. It contains Deathrattle for the Undertaker, It can be taunted up with Sunfury Protector or Defender Of Argus and can be broken with Void Terror. A possible addition to the deck could be Power Overwhelming as it also goes well with Nerubian Egg and Void Terror.

Void Terror:

Pretty decent card in general, but i have only decided to run one as it can be too situational. It combos well with Nerubian Egg and the many cards with Deathrattle as it provides easy activation of Sylvannas Windrunner and Voidcaller.

Voidcaller:

For a while i've been ignoring this card in Warlock decks as i thought it never seemed to do enough. Now i have been experimenting with this card and have found the results to be really good. It Can be taunted up or Shadowflamed and it allows you to pull a free demon out of your hand (Dread Infernal, Doomgaurd). However it is recommended to play it once you already have a demon in hand especially if you have Doomgaurd, otherwise it doesn't provide any value.

Sylvannas:

A fairly key card to the deck as it allows easy control of the board. It combos well with taunt, Void Terror and shadowflame and can often be utilized to steal an opponents good minion (Once i stole a Thaddius XD).

Fillers:

Because this deck is mainly about synergy it contains few filler cards but some of them are necessary. Sludge Belcher while synergizing with Deathrattle is mainly chosen as a good taunt body to put in play. As i played this deck i found that health can sometimes get a bit worrying so i decided to ad Earthen Ring Farseer as it is a mana efficient 3-drop that also adds a body in play. Siphon soul is added to the deck to deal with any large threats your opponents place so you don't have to trade minions into it. Soulfire serves as a cheap removal card and has many uses in all Warlock decks.

Match-Ups:

Control:

Against control this deck needs to be played fairly aggressively. This will cause your opponent to use removal early so they struggle to deal with your threats mid-late game. In these match-ups especially you should mulligan everything to try get a cheap combo of any sort to get you started. You need to deal as much damage to face as possible to put your opponent under pressure.

Mid-Range:

Against mid-range this deck performs fairly well. As long as you have a alright-decent hand you should have a high chance of winning the match. You often are looking to gain board control early so you can use your tempo to bring bigger combo's out of your hand.

Aggro:

in an aggro match-up your deck is usually favored. I have beat countless amounts of Face Hunters, Face Warriors and Aggro Zoo's and can say that this deck performs the best against them. Starting cards such as Acolyte of Pain, Raging Worgon, Unstable Ghoul, Nerubian Egg, Sunfury Protector and Undertaker allow for you to quickly gain board presence and once you manage to control them you can boar-clear with Voidcaller+Shadowflame combo's or taunt up with Unstable Ghoul, Sludge Belcher, Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus.

Combo (ie; Miracle Rogue, OTK, etc...):

Against combo they often use most of their removal on smaller minions rather than the Doomgaurds, Sludge Belchers, Sylvannas and Dread Infernals. I often find they remove my Nerubians, Worgons and Acolytes of Pain. This means that with a couple of decent combo's (Which are fairly common in this deck) You can quickly take control of the board before they can unleash their combo.

Mulligan Guide:

Rage Starter:

Unstable Ghoul + Raging Worgon/Acolyte of Pain

Egg Starter:

Nerubian Egg + void Terror/Sunfury Protector/Defender Of Argus

Control Starter (Against a control deck)

Voidcaller + Doomgaurd/Dread Infernal
