is there a newer version of this deck?

this deck is good vs control matchups, but in current meta infested with zoolocks and even nerfed hunters, it has not enough taunts. harrison jones is not so good, cause there s no problem to deal with warriors for me mostly, without this card. and cairne removal is not so good too. and btw wheres ysera? it helps almost always to win vs handlocks

Agreed. This was great for a while, but the meta has changed recently....this deck just cannot compete with Hunter and Lock decks (aggro/zoo) and even some of the newer control Priests. I enjoy playing it, but it certainly isn't competitive any more. It's just for kicks (for me anyway). There are just too many decks that counter this too easily.

I've mained control warrior for a long time and the best strategy i've found against any zoolock or aggro is to take offense against all enemy minions as fast as you can before the enemy builds up board (this means even using your removal spells and weapons you would save for a late game matchup against a control deck.). By the time you have stopped their steam, you are at 6 mana, where you can play your bigger minions, 9 mana to restore 15 health back to your character via Alexstraza.

Well, I've tried this a few more times in ranked...and it just got destroyed, every single time. I'll be removing it from my deck list.  This deck is not meant for the current meta. There are far too many counters to it, it lacks consistency, and only shines when the cards land in your hand just right.  That type of deck is known as a "gimmick deck." And that appears to be what this deck is. Fun, but not competitive (in the current US meta).

Um what? How is it a gimmick deck? People are throwing that term around way too easily. This deck plays the same as any control warrior, just a couple tweaks like berserker and deathwing. And it works fine on ladder.

First time playing control warrior with this deck and it hasn't been fun so far. Playing at rank 5/6, first six ranked games lost to two death rattle priests, two death rattle/tempo shamans and a token druid before finally beating an aggro hunter thanks to a good draw and Geddon (in for Deathwing, otherwise same deck). I've just swapped out the Frothing and Black Knight for two Sludge Belchers and will see how it goes, but with no board until turn 6 if I'm lucky I am just getting repeatedly overrun at the moment.

lol! Deathwing is a great surprise play near the end of a game in this current meta. usually most of the games ive played (especially against shaman) have gone extremely late game where we trade damage back and forth with no strategy. BAM deathwing summon game over.

In this control meta Gorehowl is the best! Priests Druid, mirror matches. Gorehowl is a good hand-cleaner.

Playable for sure. I would craft Sylvanas before alex only because sylvanas is played in more then one day. Alex is only played typically in freeze mage or control warrior.

Yes its playable. Sylvana i very good gor warrior, i love her so much! Brawl or Shield Slam combo on her. She is very nice in control war deck.

Aggro warrior is slowly popping its head into the meta, and tempo warrior will always be sticking around. That, and many of the legendaries in control  warrior lists are replacable with other consistent threats/more removal. 50 bucks gets about 40 packs, which is generally enough for the epics and at least 1-2 legendaries for control warrior, which is all you thoroughly need, so it's technically even cheaper as with enough packs or, more commonly, consistent arenaing, you can get all the cards for free anyway! (cairne, sylvanas, black knight, rag, and everyone except grom is replacable with boulderfist ogre, sunwalker, argent commander, and more removal in varying amounts. Even grom's not COMPLETELY necessary, it's really just the removal and the big threats that make warrior defined, not the specifics of either.) The legendaries are there to fuck with control, mostly, so I'd suggest using a cheap deck more suited to fighting control if that's what your trouble is. If the problem is merely aesthetic, then there really isn't a problem at all other than the fact that, with warrior's natural stalling ability and high value cards, its more suited for the big cards than most other classes, hence why they tend to feature. 

In general, legendary cards that are any good are only better than their alternatives a very minute percentage of the time, especially below the highest upon highest tiers of play. And quite often their alternatives are better, as they are easier to play/harder to remove/ trade more interestingly. So that's very much nothing to worry about!

Loatheb, Kel'Thuzad, second faceless, Ysera, if you're facing too much Zoo Baron Geddon, Sunwalker, boulderfist ogre, second brawl. Just go down the list of good cards for replacements, It doesn't feel key to the deck at all, and as its mostly strong against removal-less control, something more consistent might hold better.

With the changes i made i got 16 wins and 9 loses so far its not the greatest but i got from 8 to 6 so i might still hit legend, i think the deck will work better as it is original I will keep up editing the wins loses for tommorow + today my winrate is not the best but if i go 16-9 all the time i prolly will hit legend so anyways thanks for the deck

Hey I like the deck but im not that rich and I dont own all legendarys, for this deck im missing Deathwing, Alexstrasza and the black knight, Kinda hard to replace all i think but i replace the black knight with a sludge belcher , Alexstrasza and Deathwing  are so one of a kind im not sure what to replace em with i currently run Ysera and Loatheb instead what do you think?
