Well Fungalmage actually performed really well Here are stats and deck from tonight stream. Went from rank 5 floor - Rank 1 in 4 hours. (76% w/r) I'm not joking when I say that this style of mage might be optimal. Need a much larger sample size though, but it feels good.
Also this list isn't final i'm still trying to cut Apprentice and I'm not sure if I should run 2 conjurers or 1 and 1 chaingang.
oh yeah mirror entity might be really good in this list too

Hit legend and climbed to top 100 with Fungalmage on last nights stream. Here are some updated stats for anyone curious. Still maintaining a 70%+ winrate. Playing the same decklist from my previous tweet.

yeah I started playing the deck at Rank 5. I think against an experienced warlock the matchup is pretty close to 50-50 maybe slightly mage favoured. Also I think I went something like 6-0 vs zoo so that improves my warlock stats.

100% agree with the posts that mention that Lock just eliminates this match-up, unless you have a perfect draw.

*Update* I do have to say that Fungalmancer has some amazing synergy with this setup though. I've seen turn 5-6 wins come often.

i would say play a different deck. Elemental mage is pretty decent, i think valet is too important to not have for this type of deck

I replaced Primordial Glyph with Cabalist's Tome and Aluneth w/ Gadgetzan Auctioneer.

So far I haven't drawn, needed or used either.

I'm honestly having a ton of trouble with this deck. I'm not saying it's bad, so don't downvote me into oblivion, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. The deck seems like it pretty much auto loses to any form of aggro, and my starting hands always feel clunky and awkward.

Was at rank 4, have fallen to floor of rank 5.

I must be the worst HS player out there...I'm currently at 1 win 6 losses with this deck. The only win was unranked all losses are ranked. Was as high as 14 this month but have since dropped from 17 to 19 playing this deck. What gives????

Not really replaceable. If you really have to replace and you want it cheap, you could try Wolfrider.

Playing this deck with the exception of -1 Arcane Intellect +1 Potion of Polymorph and its doing really well. The potion of poly is a must play turn 4 vs warlocks, after their first lacky is lost they're usually fucked

Aluneth is honestly overkill. I've never hurt for card draw. In fact, I feel like it's a waste of turn 6, which can be a crucial turn. Not to mention the self-mill potential.

If you play this deck correctly self mill never happens from the weapon. It's a crucial card when you don't have the absolute nuts draw.
