Well I wanted to build a paladin deck on my own and... here it is!!! It works like hell!!!
The idea is to gain control of the board early game. You will decide if you go to the face or gain control. My opinion: as I said gain control early.
Combo Blessing of Might with Echoing Ooze.
Combo Undertaker with any Deathrattle card. Dancing Swords this card works fine. You have a 3 4/4 Deathrattle 3rd turn or 2nd with coin. Don't worry about the card draw, let them worry about the 4/4 2nd turn with coin and a buffed Undertaker ;). They usually use their removals for this, so it is worth it. Plus, they are getting a card for our Divine Favor.
I put Sunwalker instead of Cairne Bloodhoof or The Black Knight, but if you feel confortable do as you please and put them, they fit like a glove.
Equality - Concecration Classic combo plus your finisher Avenging Wrath... Nothing else to say.
Try it and tell me your opinion and how I can make it stronger or more viable for this meta.
Upvote, if you like it ... thanks alot guys, hope I helped :)
3 games won out of 4 so far, rank 16.
Not bad at all. I swapped a golem for an acolyte because of the draw problem.
Not a bad deck, but it could really use more card draw. One divine favor isn't really enough to keep going if/when you run out.
Tried this deck and I lost 3 times in a row. There's a lack of card draw, which is devastating when you're board gets cleared from aoe and the only thing you have in your hand is something like an undertaker, knife juggler and an iron beak. That one divine favor never came soon enough. You'd be better off adding in 2 loot hoarders, with a bloodmage thalnos... otherwise, good luck if they clear the board and you only have a few puny minions in your hand.
you should change dancing swords to spellbreakers or for tirion and second owl.
Don't be too hasty to swap Dancing Swords. In this list they are not bad. A 4/4 on turn 3 with a drawback that helps your Divine Favor isn't really bad. Spellbreaker is a reactive minion, the Dancing Swords are as proactive as it gets.
remove ooze and blessing of might and put tirion fordring 2xloot hoarder and redemption can work very well with deathrattle cards and it triggers the undertaker ability
fugen and staleg are very slow cards and they fit in heavy control decks i suggest you to replace them with 2xredemption because you get a high value from it in a deathrattle decks.
sorry about my english.
Probably because they counter the primary scope of the deck. Unlike Tempo priest, you can't turn the Chow disadvantage into an advantage, and this paladin list can't afford giving back 5 life in the early turns.
I am not the creator of the deck. However, you are right that zombie chow is good for early trades. The thing I noticed after playing something similar, focusing on secrets though, is that you need to let the opponent do the trades, because Redemption is amazing with advantageous Deathrattles. Probably in the secret-less list Chow has a place in the sun.
I would suggests taking out Leper Gnome and putting in Argent Squire, because argent squires stay on the field longer allowing you to buff it with blessing of might and blessing of kings, making it more viable than leper gnome imo. Great deck otherwise.
Deck is pretty reliant on draws. It's alright other than that.
I am running a slight variation of this deck ....... It is so much fun to play so quick
The thing about Sword of Justice and Aldor Peacekeeper, is that they aren't really 3 mana drops in most situations. The power of such a design is that you need to have MOST of your cards ready to be played out of your hand, because your 'strategic cards' slots are covered by Equality and Consecration.
I'd go as far as saying that even Ironbeak Owl is questionnable in here, because the best case scenario is that you have an explosive start until you refill with a Divine Favor. So anything under 3 mana, should be easy to throw down as soon as possible.
I also agree with the removal of Blessing of Might. A tempo deck is much different than an aggro deck and cards that require other cards to function should be kept to a minimum.
Definitely add Mad Scientist, and go the secret way. Too good to pass with Redemption and Avenge.
Thanks for sharing your deck.
P.S: Just for reference here's what I am playing in rank 3 at the moment with a proper win ratio. Mind you that's not my only deck in rank 3, so I am not fully confident with laddering with this beauty.
very helpful deck, thanks mate :) 5/5 so far
Very successful deck my friend, helped me allot to reach rank 5 ^_^
Where is Tirion Fordring?
