I made a new Post Nerf Zoo Lock! It blasts through the ladder and got a 72% winrate! Be sure to check it: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1037041-fireflys-post-nerf-zoo-huge-winrate
I made a new Aggro Spiteful Keleseth Druid deck. It has a really good winrate and is very strong. Be sure to check it: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1027439-fireflys-keleseth-spiteful-aggro-druid .
Hello, Guys! Edited a really popular Spiteful Priest to play the best versus Both Aggro and Control decks. Playing it on rank 4 and it's showing an amazing winrate! Will make the mulligan guide really soon for you guys! If you like it, I would appreciate your upvotes!
Thanks for the upvotes, friends. Now it is my time to make a break down on the deck and a mulligan guide!
Deck information:
Spiteful Priest is a new archetype to priest. There was no such deck of a priest that used the power of the high cost spells. Spiteful Priest is a deck that provides you a tempo early game combinated with a really strong late game (starting from turn 6 with Spiteful Summoner). It is a strong deck versus such archetypes as : Control Warlock, Aggro Paladin, Tempo Rogue, Aggro Druid, Aggro Hunter, Cube Lock and a lot others. Overall this deck is a really good decision if you want to climb ladder with a good winrate.
Mulligan breakdown:
Versus Warlock (Gul'dan):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Kabal Talonpriest, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, and Saronite Chain Gang
Versus Druid (Malfurion):
Prince Keleseth, Northshire Cleric, Southsea Captain, Kabal Talonpriest, Twilight Drake, and Saronite Chain Gang
Versus Hunter (Rexxar):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, Duskbreaker, and Saronite Chain Gang
Versus Mage (Jaina):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, and Duskbreaker
Versus Paladin (Uther):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, Duskbreaker, and Saronite Chain Gang
Versus Priest (Anduin):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain, Twilight Drake, and Kabal Talonpriest
Versus Rogue (Valeera):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Kabal Talonpriest, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, Duskbreaker, and Saronite Chain Gang
Versus Shaman (Thrall):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Kabal Talonpriest, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, Duskbreaker, and Saronite Chain Gang
Versus Warrior (Garrosh):
Northshire Cleric, Prince Keleseth, Kabal Talonpriest, Southsea Captain, Tar Creeper, Duskbreaker, and Saronite Chain Gang
An overall word about the Mulligans and a short Gameplan:
Versus Aggro Decks:
Versus Aggro decks you want to control the table on the beggining turns, clearing their creatures and plasing taunts. Don't forget to use Duskbreaker wisely. He is a very strong card versus Aggro.
Versus Control Decks:
Versus Control decks you want to tempo a lot, playing around their board clears and not playing into them. After they used all their boardclears you have to develop a strong deck and destroy them.
Thank you all, guys!
Can't get draw to kill druids these days.
What about replacing grand archivist with mediv??
It is a really good idea.
I love this deck. I went from 13 to 8 easy...
Just one question, what do you think about - 1 [card]Grand Archivist[/card] and + 1 [card]Free From Amber[/card] ?
Thanks!
It’s okay to do so.
Thanks. I have both cards so I was just wondering which one is the best.
Perfect deck for current meta !
Tried all the top deck (Paladin, Prince Rogue, Cubelock etc.) but this deck has the best results so far...
Neat deck.
Thinking about changes:
- Grand Archivist --> + Lich King
- 1x Mind control --> + 1x Free from amber.
Where are you not seeing the Duskbreaker? Open your eyes, friend.
Phenomenal deck, great to see an evolution in the Spiteful archetype. If you have some of the pieces, this list is 100% worth the craft. Would love to hear what the designer's thoughts are on replacements for the pirate package or Keleseth!
Here's a few games for y'all;
Thanks for the deck and mulligan guide, it was really helpful!
Thanks for your respond! Awesome job with the video!
A couple of matches with this list. The second game I play here is a bit more interesting, despite a couple mistakes, so if you want to skip ahead it starts at 6:12.
Thank you for the review a lot:)
2 summoners, 1 Archivist and 3 spells is a bad idea. The Archivist eats spells from your deck, as does drawing them. The odds of you actually getting value out of both summoners goes pretty low. I think Archivist really requires a 5th spell, which doesn't really exist and I'm not sure people would want to run it anyway. Maybe someday they'll make a useful creature that puts a big casting cost spell in your deck and then Archivist would be useful but until then I don't really like him. A second free from amber then gives you much better odds of not drawing a dead summoner.
Thank you for the reply, but the Grand Archivist is in the deck to cast mind controls when you need to steal an opponents creature. It really won me a lot of games, you just have to think before playing it, you know. 2 10 mana spells and 1 8 mana gives you a better chance at getting a 10 mana creature from Spiteful Summoner (66.6% chance). Also a bigger chance at stealing you opponents minion with Archivist, so when you play it, you steal your opponents big creature most of the time. So it is a good idea. It confirms it is good by a high winrate.
I disagree, there are more times he has been bad than good and I've used him a lot. Not worth it imo, better to use a safety tech card like Nerubian Unraveler.
I was wondering why the Standard Spiteful Priest(and your’s) runs only one Free From Amber and two Mind Controls. I know now, and yes that higher chance to take an enemy minion makes a difference and since you only have 3 spells you have a 25% higher chance to not draw a spell into your hand.
I also find Grand Archivist counter-interactive sometimes, for example when you have a last spell in the deck and opp has some crappy minion on the board that I don't want or when you already drew all your spells it's just a 4/7 for 7 mana. I run Medivh, the Guardian instead of it for amazing board swings vs control, if you even steal their 5/5 minion you would still get a 10-drop (8/8 on average), or just high-roll something like Tyrantus or Deathwing. I won outright vs cubelocks after stealing their voiddaddy and getting a 10-drop along the way. It definitely benefits your late game much more, while Grand Archivist is good in very rare situations.
http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1026597-high-roll-spiteful-priest mine fixes the problem his has.
