Hey,

My name is Snuxi and aggro decks are my passion. People are saying that pirate warrior is tier 3/4. That's because they are playing lists with Prince Keleseth and Mithril Spellstone which is completely wrong imo. Pirate warrior always been about buffing your weapon to the extremes. If u play the version with keleseth and spellstone u can't include Heroic Strike and Upgrade!. Which makes the deck way worse.

General gameplay and strategy

Control the early board and get some chip damage, and most importantely manage the control of your weapon, that means attack when u don't have any weapon buffs, and do not attack when u got some of those juicy weapon buffs coming up.

And remember, always play minions before weapons , so u can protect them.

Example: coining Frothing Berserker instead of Fiery War Axe on turn 3, when board is empty.

Mulligan

Go for 1drops (except patches LUL), if u have coin, u can keep 3drops.

If u already have weapon (First mate,Axe) u should keep Upgrade! and Bloodsail Cultist.

Keep Bloodsail Raider if u already have first mate.

Always keep Upgrade! vs Paladin.

Always keep Corridor Creeper vs minion heavy matchups.

If your hand is already decent in first phase of mulligan vs Priest, u can go ahead and Keep Kor'kron Elite, which is really hard to remove for priest.

Matchups

Druid: if it's aggro druid, pick up ur weapon, and always trade their minions, so u play around all their buffs and Mark of Y'Shaarj. Board control is everything there. After they lose board control, they lose the game. Versus Jade/Big Druid try to go as fast as possible, play around Spreading Plague by suiciding small minions. Try to use your direct damage like weapon hits/ Heroic Strike turn before u know that they'll play some taunt minion. So u can finish them with Mortal Strike after that.

Hunter: Should be pretty easy if u get your weapon on line early, trade efficently, remove beast before Houndmaster. Only thing that might u lose the game instantly is Golakka Crawler, so try baiting it with small pirates first, u can hold on your Southsea Captain, after u see them pass on turn 2 after a bit of thinking.

Mage: versus control/ big/quest Mage is fairly easy, they run a lot of board clears, which is not that good versus pirate warrior, cuz u can just pop them over and over with ur weapon. So u should be able to win before Frost Lich Jaina, Alexstrasza. Against secret mage u can even win by armoring up and running them out of resources, if they don't get Aluneth.  So u can trade over and over, and just armor up in meantime.

Paladin: fight for board as much as possible, using Upgrade just for the 1/3 or N'zoth First mate, to ping off their minons every turn. Play around Blessing of Kings and Sunkeeper Tarim. Try to dump your hand, so they don't draw any cards using Divine Favor.

Priest: Against all kinds of tempo priest u just play for the board, and then switch to face with big reaper. Against raza priest, u don't even have to go that fast, just concetrate on getting a really big weapon, and smash them over and over, they can't create enough pressure to stop you.

Rogue: Get ahead early, trade only if  necessary or when going in turn 7 cuz of Bonemare, go as aggresive as possible, rogue has  to tank all your minions with her face, if she wants to remove them.

Shaman: LUL XD, not but now seriously, if u happen to meet one, remove their stuff so they can't evolve, play around Maelstrom Portal

Warlock: Against zoo, fight for early board control, play around Despicable Dreadlord on turn 5. Against control warlock, go really all out. U need perfect hand to kill them before Possessed Lackey brings out Voidlord. Tech in Spellbreaker if u r facing a lot of control warlock, but for more of that, scroll a bit more.

Warrior: Usually a mirror, i haven't met a single control warrior. Use weapons to trade their stuff. Reckognize when to pull the trigger on going face. Play around Mortal Strike, meaning not setting them on 12 or lower, when it's not needed. But u should win most of the time, cuz all of them play Spellstone, which is really bad in this matchup, and in all other matchups too, LOL.

Tech choices & replacements

U can add Spellbreaker instead of Mortal Strike to help u against Warlock and Paladin. But be really careful, Spellbreaker is really bad in other matchups.

U can replace Captain Greenskin with Bittertide Hydra, but it takes a lot of raw power from the deck. Rest of the deck is pretty cheap and i belive that it can't be replaced. Maybe except for Bloodsail Raider That is kind of flex spot, but it's still a pirate, so it works well with Southsea Captain and Bloodsail Cultist.

Thanks for reading this is the end!:)
