Post Naxx Ramp Druid
* NEW VIDEOS - 22/9/14 *
This deck is doing really good against all decks in the current meta. I just had a 9 win strike with it and got me from 14 to 11 (now level 6) on the ladder in just 1 hour of play so I thought I should share it.
It works very well agains Priest, Warlock zoo, and warrior decks
Against the dominent Hunter it got a 60-40 win rate.
Known to loose horibbly to Handlock - but these are not as common these days.
Please try it out and let me know how it went for you
The Idea
As in all Ramp decks - to use Innervate & Wild Growth early on to get large creatures with Taunt down on the board. This deck was originally built around getting more value out of Kel'Thuzad but after play Testing it, it seems Kel'Thuzad is too much circumstational and I have removed it for the much needed AOE provided by Starfall
The Mulligan
I found this mulligan stratagy to be very consistent, I mulligan everything for a chance to get a Innervate or Wild Growth or both. in the chance you stumble a good 4 drop like [card]Sen'jin Shieldmasta[/card] or Keeper of the Grove keep one of them. Wrath is also a keeper. the rest are for later game.
Please note that this deck is consstent enough that even if you do not get the Innervate or Wild Growth - you still have a great chance of winning. don't panick!
Great Combos
Innervate +The Coin + [card]Sen'jin Shieldmasta[/card] or Keeper of the Grove on turn 1 or a Druid of the Claw on turn 2.
it easy to drop a Ragnaros the Firelord on turn 4/5 with this deck and copy it with a Faceless Manipulatorthe next turn.
The funniest thing ever with this early game defensive deck is that on turn 4 you can 2xInnervate +The Coin + Alextrasza to maximum damage and droping your opponenet from 30 to 15.
Notable Tips
This deck have a great card draw with 2 Ancient of Lore try to play them when the board is clear, that way you will get the card advantage without risking your board control.
The same is true for Loatheb when you play it on a clear board you 80% of the time guarentee that this turn will be for droping creatures and since you have large Taunts - your next turn will probably be droping one of them to bloack and attack with Loatheb.
This deck have great responses to alot of post Naxx Decks since it carries 3 silencers but not as fragile as Ironbeak Owl, Spellbreaker & Keeper of the Grove actually pack a puch afterwards, especially behind your Taunters.
Thanks for reading,
Please +1 in the top right corner if you like it.

Paladin Control Warrior Priest
That is true. it struggles in the higher ranks,
It only took me as high as rank 6 last season, but having say that - it took me there fastest then any other deck.
I guess it is good to get you there first and then change to another deck

If anything.... this deck shows that pretty much any deck can win or get legend. As long as you win the mid/control matchups, your winrating should be above 50%. So who cares if you lose hard against aggro matchups. From a deckbuilder perspective its so bad. But in reality its will probably preform fine on ladder. Especially, after 22nd Sept when hunter gets thrown into the garbage bin.
I'm having a lo of success with the deck. Not sure the exact percentage but I would say 60%+ I stopped playing tonight at rank 10. And I understand the win percentages can be arguable, this was just my performance with the deck over the last two days. Also I'm not sure with the complaints with matches against aggro, b/c I have no problems. I watch zoo and hunter usually suicide into my taunts till I can get the advantage. Also slight change since no Alex. -1 Alex +1 Sunwalker
Hi man,
Thanks for the info. please continue updating.

I know druid ramp is all about the late game, but i think you have a tad too much of it. I think Loetheb is good, but in a ramp druid a 5/5 for 5 isn't too great. Alexstrasa is a good cards, but i think its not that big in this particular deck because by the time you get alex out, you have a ton of huge creatures already and they are probably already below 15 health unless you are losing. I suggest to take those two out to put in the best card in the game. Chillwind Yeti. It comes out possible turn one, more likely turn 3, its incredibly hard to deal with, it smashes them in the face all day everyday and can get rid of a lot of creatures and if they use removal like assassinate or siphon soul, then thats perfect because that isn't going to one of your stronger creatures. Imo, 4/5>5/5. Just a suggestion of course.
Hi man,
thanks for the input. i sure do love them yettis, i am sure they are a very good addition.
I can give them a try. but i fear Alexstraza is 2 good to let go, its basically brings you back to play when you are loosing.
regading lothab - its good against removal decks like miricale rouge - which this deck slaugther. so i am reluctent to take them out...
Can you please try your version out and let us know how it goes ?
I have my own druid ramp deck that is similar to this but less legendaries because I'm a F2P player, but its working out good. I'm at rank 8 right now and I do admit that i make a lot of misplays. But with Loatheb, you should keep him in until you see how the meta changes. With the Leeroy Jenkins change, Miracle Rogue might become less prevalent. Hold off on too many changes because the meta is in a weird spot where Zoo is pretty much gone and there are still a lot of Huntards, but people really don't know whats gonna be the new big deck. Good luck and I'll see you in Legend ;)
Scratch that everybody - i am level 7 with this deck.I hope it will go all the way
I'm skeptical for that to be true. I'm getting destroyed by every possible deck out there atm in the current meta. Just had a match vs a staple Mage secret deck where he won in round 6 w/o taking any damage whatsoever.
He didn't use any gimmicks. He didn't use any combos. Just a straight forward secret deck.
I'm finding this to be one of the least competitive Druid decks I've ever played (since beta) tbh. It relies so much on getting Innervate at the beginning that if you don't, the deck is dead in the water. And even if you do, it's still not sufficient due to having far too many late game cards. By then, the momentum is lost...and if the momentum is lost, it's almost always gg.
Like I said, I'd like to see some video of it being played against a few different decks. I don't see how the deck could be played effectively in the current meta.
level 6 now, movie uploading to youtube
got the first video uploaded - its by chance against handlock, ill post more when i have time
It's an "interesting" deck but I'm not sure it is competitive. It is so top heavy. Current meta is all about quick and fast like. There just doesn't seem to be enough early game answers. You are almost forced to take several rounds in the face before you can start playing, and a good aggro deck will exploit the momentum that this deck gives up.
For example, 2 games in a row, at the end of round 4 I was down to 20 hp while the opponent had little to no damage. In the 2nd match, vs rogue, at end of round 6 my hp was down to 14 while his was still at 26. It's a huge disparity and it so far, it seems consistent. This presents a very serious challenge with this deck.
I'm still testing the deck (as-is, w/o any adjustments), but first impressions aren't very good atm. I haven't won a single match with it so far.
I'm currently playing in Casual mode with this deck.
Hi man,
I do not have this problem, I never go face in the beginning - i go for board control.
and its ok to get some to the face and be against 30 health - thats where Alexstraza comes in handy
you should be 16-30 with board control and wham your 16-15 with reallly big board = gg.
having said that. i find it hard to progress over level 8 so It may need some adjustment.
I consider adding shades of naxx instead on 1 ancient of war and 1 spell breaker... i dont know yet
Well, it just happened again. So far, I'm 1:6 w/ this deck. Almost all matches have resulted in ending up between 13-16 hp by round 5 w/ the opponent at 25-30 hp. By the time I lay out my big cards, I can only lay them out 1 at a time. 1 big card vs several small cards + a full deck of removal spells = non-competitive.
I'm not sure how you are doing so well w/ this deck. Either it is just complete randomness or I'm completely playing this deck the wrong way. While that is is a possibility, I'm not sure that it is reasonable. Druid is my favored class and I usually do quite well w/ Druid decks. The only other Druid deck I've struggled w/ is the Dog Taunt...which as someone else pointed out, is just too slow in this current meta.
Do you have any video play throughs to follow?
Ill try to make some and post them.
i did one small change -1 Starfall +1Mark of the Wild
helps with big removals with the BK (think MotW yesera followed by BK) and you can mark keeper early vs zoo if you don't have tasdingo's in hand
Hi man,
Thats a great idea, the thing is that you completely remove your AOE except the -1 of the 2 swipes.
Please play with it a bit and let me know how it goes
Hi man,
Sure , it really fits the game synergy.
I think maybe instead of sylvanas of the black knight - but I am not sure.
What do you think?
