Warlock has no shortage of self harming cards for more powerful minions/spells, so it would be cool to see a control/handlock archetype that explicitly benefits from having low health. Really reminds me of Shadowverse Vengeance-esque stuff.

This is huge, I think it's quite possible that this minion alone puts Handlock back on the map! Great design.

Well first i thought this will suck with Bloodreaver Gul'dan because he will not become a 7/7 taunt minion. But still a 4/4 on the board with other demons is really damn fucking powerful.

Im gonna vote Very good on this.

Im gonna vote Very good on this.

Also, lets not forget - armor gained by the DK or from Kazakus can put you at a robust health total despite having a life total that is technically under 15.

Is the risk that made it to turn 4 and beyond with more than 15 health?

Win-more cards are risky - lose-less cards are not risky.

Think of turn 8 against aggro you hellfire to clear and then drop this 7/7 after dropping your health into range.

A defensive 4 mana 7/7 is still a 4 mana 7/7.

He can be run offensively in zoo too - going punch for punch against a face heavy deck - this guy gives late game tempo and a good excuse to use the hero power and lots of overstated hurt-yourself minions like the new OP OP 1-drop.

Win more cards are EXTREMELY RISKY - you have to be winning to get the benefit.

I agree that this isn't the BEST defensive option but it does have taunt which puts it pretty effing high on the great defensive minion list - however if you are playing zoo going punch for punch against aggro - a difficult to remove 4 banana sleven sleven can setup a win condition. You could combo this with bonemare PO or other burst FTW if it can't be removed.

Alternatively, against minion heavy aggro strategies (everything but aggro shaman and mage) you can trade with this to gain board and drop you OTHER taunts, heals or Mal'Ganis to stop the pain.

Dropping this without the bonus also isn't terrible 4 mana 4/4 with no drawbacks and a demon tag is not the worst play you can make. I often find myself dropping voidcaller without a demon in my hand for a 4 mana 3/4. Also, as a topdeck this is phenomenal if your health is even close to 15. You have free license to tap liberally. 4 attack is pretty okay against priest (which is not all that uncommon to face - or so I hear).

Demon decks got some seriously great options this expac and this is a big piece of that.
