An End of turn card should be able to endure staying on the board, how is 9 mana 2/4 doing that.
You know a card is bad when you still wouldn't play it at 2 mana less than it's current cost.
Malygos is the whole reason this thing is overcosted. You could use this in a Malygos deck to yank him out on turn 6-7 if he was properly costed and nuke the shit out of the opponent. Still probably couldn't get fatal, and you'd suck against aggro (like Maly decks ALWAYS have), so this is still just an obscene overcost.
*speechless*
The card info lists the card’s type as an Ability rather than a Minion. /error
Fixed!
this is evolve nerf as well as devolve buff
At least give it taunt or poison because it is horrible as is.
Why play a big dragon when you can play a 2-4 AND get a big dragon?
You eventually lose a battlecry ...
You would lost Ysera's ability
9 mana for a 3 mana body.
It's not a dragon itself.
It only pulls dragons that you don't really want to pull because of the battlecries.
TRASH!
Maybe they still have to reveal a dragon with an insane cost (10+) and some OP effects which can (techwise) only be recruited through this card. Including both into your deck still implies you need to play this card before the actual dragon is drawn. Gambling and such.
I think the real theme for this expansion is "mana cost higher than combined base stats."
You spelled "meme" wrong.
This is stronger than it looks, recruit allow you to build deck more easily around legendary that are 1 of. Also if you have several big dragon threat in your deck like deathwing dragonlord, ysera and this. It hard for opponent to remove both this and the dragon it pulls out at the same turn. And leaving this on the board can mean another dragon is coming. Unlike the 10/10 oldgod this doesn't make you commit to only having big minions, but just big dragon.
Agreed. As a side note, I think people are putting too much stress on the "lost battlecry." You can't lose what you didn't have. In the decks that are interested in running this card (i.e. Big Druid style decks that don't plan on going to fatigue), cards in your deck do not intrinsically accomplish things for you. If anything, you're sad about not having a big dragon in your deck, not about not having its battlecry in your deck.
