The Scroll
Card Clarifications
- You can't pick the targets.
- These random spells do not count toward things like Open the Waygate or spell trigger cards like Violet Teacher.
- The spells can be from any class, much like a Yogg-Saron, Hope's End trigger.

so for those sayin this is crap, I've been playing this since the expansion come out and I had amazing results, this is just like yogg, scroll of wonder into ultimate brokeback won me this game
Ah, the Deck of Many Things. You had an 80% chance to effectively kill your character, a 15% chance to gain a huge benefit, and a 5% chance to do nothing too great. I remember when my friend drew one card and it managed to be the Moon. He then immediately threw the deck in a pit. Good times....
Oh wait, this is Hearthstone.
As a fan of Yogg decks, can't wait to make a wild cassino mage with this !
Fitting the power level of this card, I made a casino mage, if anyone is interested, including a small little poem describing the way to play it. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/982433-casino-mage
My grandfather's Deck of Wonders has no pathetic cards!
I think rock-paper-scissors has less RNG than this card.
What if, when drawn they actually cost you 5 mana.
To clarify how do these not count towards the quest and also this won't trigger the weapon from medivh?
Because it is not something YOU are casting, the initial card you play will count but the 5 copies wont.
best card since yogg saron
Good card for the memers
Doesn't save you from fatigue, it draws card afterwards. Except if you transform your entire deck to something, like with golden monkey.
yeah, that's pretty cool. but only one problem: the scroll of wonder will draw ANOTHER card, which means that Aluneth will only help you to get trough the deck into these, it won't help you with fatigue. (unless you get to shuffle idol :D)
A Wild Control Mage deck with Deck of Wonders + Elise, Starseeker to turn those scrolls into legendaries could be fun.
I'm assuming you can pick up more than one of these in a row since the scroll draws you a card after casting a spell. Now I'm just waiting for this to happen to some newbie in wild;
- Plays Servant of Yogg-Saron (5/4 body and casts a spell, that's pretty good value!)
- Deck of Wonders
- Next turn: Scroll of Wonder > Free From Amber > Majordomo Executus
And if they are really unlucky and draw another scroll, maybe DOOM! or Cataclysm.
In the card's description it says it can be spells from any class:
Those scrolls won't trigger Arcane Tyrant's effect I assume.
I think they do, since the card mentions: '>Cast< this when drawn' and '>Cast< a random spell'
"These random spells do not count toward things like Open the Waygate or spell trigger cards like Violet Teacher"
