Loving this weapon at least while it seems no one is running weapon removal, I've been running it with Rin, the First Disciple for fun but its a doable edge swords (pun intended ) the weapon can be a huge drain on your hand, with Rin u have an almost unlimited amount of spells you can keep casting and with all the free summons you get some space to cast without worrying to much about them busting you down, as a drawback the finally summon is a demon so u are likely to summon him out with the weapon so u miss out on the battle-cry interestingly most of the time it doesn't get that far as they seem to rage quit at lot just before i play it.
here is a replay of it in action were the RNG card gods were being nice normally the weapon ends up at the bottom of the deck- https://hsreplay.net/replay/brbgMuiwyZb7ofX7MBf3aU
This weapon is the reason I've started running Harrison in all my decks. :P
So no one's mentioned how the flavor text is a Planescape reference?
Eh, what's eating you, chief?
Got this for my free weapon, I was kinda "meh" at first but then after some experimentation, I regret voting this card Playable, for now at least. Since (surprisingly) no one I've played so far has teched any of the Oozes, I've had some pretty great results with this card, pulling out at least a Doomguard or a Voidlord. Of course this card is still directly dependant on two things to be a great card, good draw, and your opponents not running Ooze. If your Skull is at the bottom of the deck (as I've experienced one game), you're just playing a normal, Frozen Throne Controllock, which was a Tier 3 deck back in the KFC meta at best. If players start teching Ooze when this card becomes more popular, then this card would get less popular, similar to The Black Knight with Taunts. Not to mention you won't obtain ANY value out of 5 mana if your weapon gets Oozed. In conclusion, I'm almost rating this card a meta-defining card since it either forces you to put an Ooze or two in your deck or forces you to take them out, but the only thing holding it back is how this card depends heavily on card draw, so it's still a 4 to 3 star-ish card IMO.
Edit: Few more games in, I'd also like to rewrite this card's text a bit. At the end, they should add "If you're holding a Voidlord and an Abyssal Enforcer, always pull out an Abyssal Enforcer."
I come from the future to say.
Turns out it's pretty good.
pulled out my dreadlord allowing me to get my other out on the same turn, that's value right there
This card is REEEEEALLY dependent on the Oozes in this expansion. Some weapons may not be desired to get oozed. If weapons like these persist in the meta, this weapon may be somewhat playable and quite broken. If oozes will see a lot of play in this meta, this weapon is essentially "spend 5 mana for nothing" which is an extreme tempo loss and will lose the game instantly.
Seeing this on stream this card seemed just "ok". But they didn't have Doomguard or Voidlord. It might be awkward to play in control where you want to Twisting Nether, but this keeps pulling stuff from your hand.
at the stream this shit did not lose its durability when it summoned demons. how can it loose it?
and what for it needs 3 durability in that case? oozes does not care about it
The 1/2 pirate and the Gadetzan Ooze only remove 1 durability from it, while Harisson draws more cards.
Captain Greenskin Furnacefire Colossus Phantom Freebooter Spiteful Smith Naga Corsair
Random Demon or chosen?
Another crappy weapon...
In a none Ooze Meta it's pretty good.
In an English good meta it's pretty kappa.
Voisitko osallistua Google Translate, jotta "butter" ei ole ainoa sana, joka näkyy "voi". Kuinka minun pitäisi oppia suomalaisten erityispiirteet, jos en osaa rikkoa rangaistusta?
Anyone else realize the card is the Demonology artifact from WoW with the Pit Lord skin? Same name and has a similar look. Nice touch Blizzard.
