suck my 7-mana 3-attack dick, evolve shaman
Paladin? Doubt it. Decks which are using even four 8-drops cant afford such 7. May be you can make Bright-Eyed Scout catching this girl... But all I can say that I expected 2 cards for pally revealed (and got none).
I don't like this card, not only because it's understated but because it screws evolve shaman big time.
Hmmm. Quest Druid might not care about that mana cost but will love that effect. By turn 7 or 8 you're hoping to have completed the quest anyways. I'm not about to go crafting the quest tho.
Also, not that since it's 8 cost you can still have your large minions with battlecries you want to activate and have no chance of grabbing them which other recruit mechanics would do.
The whole idea here is to bring Tirion Fordring, The Lich King or Ragnaros, Lightlord in a Control Paladin. Being a deathrattle make it too slow for the Dr. 7 (Bonemare) turn.
Assuming your opponent doesn't pop this on their turn and remove the 8 drop, you're going to be suiciding this on turn 8 to get a "free" 8 drop from your deck. Whoopee, an 8 drop on turn 8 and you can't even use potential battlecries.
I agree that it is a huge loss of tempo, playing a 7 mana 3/3 at that point of the game.
But I see some potential on the paladin. For example you could use handbuffs like Grimestreet Enforcer or Smuggler's Run to get higher stats out of the card with a potential deathrattle, which summons you a Tirion Fordring or The Lich King.
Deathrattle: Put your faith in the light!
This card is slower than esporte interativo
Looooooooooool
Maybe there will be something in unrevealed cards that make me play this one.
What's the point of this? If you play it on 7 and your opponent kills it you've really only summoned an 8 cost minion onto the board 1 turn earlier than you normally would. why would you basically skip a turn to do this?
Recruit targets minions in your deck, not in your hand. This could potentially draw the 8 drop you're looking for (read: Tirion) when it would otherwise have sat on the bottom of your deck.
Yeah I know that. My point is you're playing a shitty 7 cost minion that does nothing the turn you play it, so you can potentially get an 8 cost minion out half a turn early. It's not worth it. It might as well say: "draw an 8 cost minion from your deck".
That's if your opponent decides to kill it as well.
What happens when you draw your 8 drop/s before you play this? you have a vanilla 7 mana 3/3 in your hand.
she's a card that's not meant to be played but remain in your deck. Barnes, Seeping Oozeling *edit* also, if she get's recruited, that's also not terrible.
Seeping Oozeling would want to take advantage of Mrs. Winterwisp but then this card would possibly pull her out which wouldn't activate her battlecry which is in part what makes her so awesome. idk I too initially thought this might allow for more consistent giant beasts with seeping oozeling, but I'm less convinced now. That being said, with hunter's play dead machanics this could still be so awesome that you wouldn't care. I agree though with barnes, that is awesome.
Also see Kobold Illusionist, or Carnivorous Cube for a deck with a lot of 8 minions to pull - both this and the cube are not class bound and create a lot of cool possibilities for a lot of classes.
.
where are you getting battlecry from?
ohh, I see wrong
This is awful.
A 7-mana 3/3 is never going to be good, no matter what effect. Hell, for the same cost, you get Bonemare!
