If it's summoned rather than played it doesn't get a deathrattle, if you play it out of hand you get to choose which deathrattle you want and your opponent won't know which one you picked.
I love the idea of playing Mind Games with your opponent. The deathrattle might be a little easier to predict based on the board situation but I think this will be a very interesting card to mess around with.
Coolest card in the set so far.
"Secretly", lol
Secret deathrattle looks so fun.
wow druid gets some kind of board clear... This is a very interesting card as druid has never had such an efficient board clear. Also the card has an angle cause you can mind game you opponent by choosing a buff. This card could go a long way.
What is the N'Zoth interaction?
Does it gain both deathrattles on summoning, the one it died with or does it not get summoned at all considering it started as a choose one card?
hmm good question I'd say neither. When summoned from the void this card probably has no deathrattle just like Druid of the Claw isn't a taunt card.
No, Druid of the Claw counts as a Taunt card because it transforms into a different minion that has taunt. Ancient of War wouldn't count as a taunt minion because it just gains Taunt from a battlecry, it doesn't turn into a minion that naturally has taunt.
ahh yes bad example what I mean is fatespinner probably has no deathrattle if not played from hand. So i am not sure he would get rezed by N'zoth.
I'm not so sure about this one. Maybe if Druid is given more token making cards the second Deathrattle would be dank enough. However, I don't see you picking the second option much unless you're very far ahead.
so it can be an aggro card and anti aggro card. seems strong.
I don't think this card is as good as people are making it out to be aside certain combos that would be rarely used. My thought process if I was given the choice to attack this minion->
"If I choose to have my minions trade with other minions and attack face before killing this, then my opponent could still end up potentially benefiting from the buff. However, if I choose to kill it first so long as I trade minions that could possibly die to the aoe, I will either wipe both sides and have a tempo advantage or buffed minions that could go face if it can be lethal."
The choice as pointed out above will always be to kill it first while keeping in mind of what minions you have that are at risk.
hmm what if he Wrath it himself with a nice big aggro board or against your aggro bored . or use it with Ancient of War ? that was the problem with Quest Rogue, the plays were made on opponents turn and you cant do nothing. you wont have the...
Fatespinner into Wrath for an unexpected savage roar when needed. This card is so versatile.Love it!
This should be omnomnomable by the Eater of Secrets.
Hm, if you play this alongside high-health minions like Ancient of War, guessing the choice becomes a lot harder.
When would you ever want to have both effects on the Deathrattle? Fandral Staghelm would just make this card worse.
kill a taunt or clear board and give your minions lethal or more armor from scales
