Shellshifter in Stealth mode is 5/3, as well
Dont forget jade stuff, it says summon
This might have been answered, but what happens if a Rogue Vanishes a bunch of minions whose Cost was brought down to 0? Do they still Cost 0 or their normal costs?
They go back too their original cost, so that's a thing, same with sap.
Thank god forGiant Anaconda, helps get them back out.
A lot of people think that because it only affects cards in your hand, a Malygos Kun the Forgotten King deck will be too inconsistent.
This is incorrect; you just have to avoid drawing one of them before you play Barnabus the Stomper
Draw Kun before Barabus and you have a zero cost Malygos
Draw Malygos before Barabus and Kun will cost 0, refreshing your mana after you play Malygos
-_- Too bad Living Roots is leaving... we'll just have to rely on moonfire and swipe, maybe starfire
I think this card has the potential to make some sort of beast druid/ramp hybrid somewhat viable. I tried to throw a deck together pretty quick, what do you guys think?
after looking at it, it probably needs a nourish or something but idk
I like it but there is not enough card draw. Nourish will probably help with ramp too.
Yeah I think so too, I was thinking of maybe taking out the Earthen Scales and replacing one with a Nourish, and the other with a Cenarius or an Ancient of Lore.
Another relatively interesting option could be to throw in a Giant Wasp somewhere.
To help cope with how powerful this deck will likely be, I vote we as the community refer to these "5+ Attack" decks as "Barney decks" as a way of bringing some humor to the affair. Those in favor?
And this even works with Jades... because Summon is not play... Though I suppose it is mostly designed for Astral Communion kind of decks
It's horrible in astral decks because it takes up a card slot in the mull stage. you have a way higher win rate with that deck going second because you have 4 cards to throw back instead of 3. with this quest you would only have three going second and two going first.
And then when you get it off, you're only playing one minion a turn anyways because you only draw one. So with this quest, you'll play your minion, and hero power. then end the turn with 8 unspent mana.
I said Astral Communion kind of, but didn't say that you need to have an Astral Communion, as instead of it you have the quest...
Need cheap 5 attack minions? King Mukla, Elder Longneck, Magma Rager, and Ice Rager all have 5 attack and only cost 3 mana.
Will be interesting to see if Celestial Dreamer (Battlecry gain +2/+2 if you control another 5 attack minion) and Druid of the Flame (Choose the 5/2 Firecat form) will also count.
battlecry does count. they said on live stream that adapting minions will count towards your quest.
same thing with how Fight Promoter can trigger itself
Shellshifter for 4 mana is also a relatively cheap 5 attack minion with stealth
Celestial Dreamer does count towards the quest (thankfully)
Step 1: Play 5 minions with 5+ attack
Step 2: Play Barnabus the Stomper
Step 3: Play Hemet, Jungle Hunter
Step 4: Go cry to a corner and blame Obama for your loss
