I love 4 mana Mark of the Lotus
I mean, yeah, that'd be awful, but you can guarantee you won't get that. At the very worst it'll just be one of 3 choices.
I still don't think it's a great card, but it's better than that.
MAN! With this card no one is gonna miss the old Conceal! This card is great, you can give your minions stealth just for 4 mana.
kappa
This is clearly a card for an aggressive-y, mid-game board-centric Druid. Not something Jade Druid or Combo Druid would play.
Egg druid seems like an obvious fit for this card at first, but Egg-Esque cards only strongly benefit from Flaming Claws. Personally, I see this card being played in something more akin to Beast Druid: in the later part of the game, you'll likely have a few medium-sized beasts (Druid of the Claw, Stranglethorn Tiger, etc.) threatening your opponent's face. In that case, Flaming Claws is still decent, but also, Lightning Speed becomes amazing, Crackling Shield becomes solid for trading, and Liquid Membrane and Shrouding Mist help you avoid single-target removal.
Remember, the odds of getting exactly the Adaptation you want are 30%, the odds of getting one of two you want are 53.33%, and the odds of getting one of three you want are 70.83%. Having a couple adaptations that are amazing rather than one makes finding an amazing adaptation consistent.
Maybe a one-of in Aviana/Kun the Forgotten King decks, where you can drop a bunch of minions and then give them all Liquid Membrane/Crackling Shield/etc.
Rated playable
Unfortunately Avianais going to cycle out, so that combo is lost in standard
It's a cool idea tho, and would work in Wild
Not subtle at all, Blizzard. Get your whole board hyped up on 'shrooms and they'll start hallucinating that they have Lightning Speed or plants growing out of their asses.
Overpriced +1/+1, isn'it? Is the versatility really worth +2 more mana than Power of the Wild? Might be useful if it was 3 mana, but I bet they tested it at that cost and must've found it too good.
The Murloc adapt and silver hand adapt minions are about this cost, and they add a body to the board (and with decent stats). I don't see it. So many cards that provide the effects to minions that this can have a cost of 1 or 2 mana (lots even apply it too all minions). Probably won't see much play.
+1/+1 is admittedly one of the weakest adaptations this card can give. You're usually looking for Flaming Claws or Lightning Speed to close out games, or for something very defensive like Rocky Carapace to endure a board clear or slew of removal.
Interesting card, more flexible and yet just as unplayable as Soul of the Forest.
Though to be fair, I get why blizzard gave it this mana cost when you consider that there's a 30% chance of this being a strictly better bloodlust.
So, I'm going to run through the list here:
Wow, thanks Blizz ! I'm sure That 10/10 jade needs windfury to be viable ! Maybe, that 11/11 needs some stealth too... Or that 12/12 needs elusive power, so it can't be targeted by spells, brilliant! So, it can also be good...
wow don't know what to say... Seriously? Jade druid dominating the meta in a worse level than pirate decks... I usually don't complain, but this might be a Scary new meta. Every un'goro card was going so well... Maybe in specific other classes this could not be so bad, but in druid ?
i would say it's a meh card cuz it's too expensive. It only get's it's value if you have 3 (assuming you pick the +3 atack or windfury adapt) or 4 minions (assuming you pick the +1/+1, the +3hp or the poison).
Also, this card seems useful only with a lot of small minions (unless you think you can fill a board with big minons and still think this card is necessary - Sarcasm) which makes a lot of the adapt buffs useless like stealth, taunt and spell immunity.
The only good scenario is using it like a cheaper bloodlust with the +3 atack or windfury but that is 40% chance, you don't wanna trade one mana for 60% failure chance.
This card could be playable if it costed 3 tho. Druid class is dissapointing in this expansion, more than warrior.
This card might be playable on 3, there are already better cards in the set such as Gentle Megasaur and Lightfused Stegodon, although those cards have limitations at least they provide a body, the card might see niche play in token druid if that deck gets more support.
