If Shaman got this quest, we can be pretty sure that Mage Quest will be "Summon x elementals"
1. Faceless Manipulator + Hungry Crab
2. Shadowstep your Megafin
3. Go mrlglrgrlgrlg
Now only if Lotus Agents would give Shadowstep every time...
Yeah, right, kinda missed the Faceless Manipulator part, still Shadowstepping your own Megafin is also fun. Getting 2 swarms of Murlocs instead of one...
Sure mate! Lots of Murlocs = tons of fun :D love those creepy lil ones!
How would you shadowstep?
That's a rogue card.
This is a Shaman quest.
You're playing as a rogue against a quest shaman. You copy his Megafin with Faceless Manipulator, kill his Megafin with Hungry Crab and Shadowstep your new Megafin.
I believe that's what they meant to say.
This seems like the most legit Quest to date. The priest one is OKAY but the effect isn't anything stellar.
This one takes an aggro decks and lets you go hyper aggro with the guarantee that you'll refill your hand and get a big threat to boot! Whether or not this will be competitive remains to be seen but its probably enough to make Shaman Warlock my number one choice above Warlock now.
In wild at least, I think you could get away with only using the Finja package + Siltfin Spiritwalkers and Call in the Finishers.
Then later in the game when you're both top decking/the control deck has exhausted it's board clears, drop this guy and flood the board twice (They're murlocs, you'll be able to get enough of them out for 5 mana and again for 10 mana next turn). As someone whose done Brann Bronzebeard + Neptulon in my Shaman Battlecry deck, I can guarantee you that suddenly having that many more resources screws over your opponent more often than not.
Still not happy about these stupid Murlocs, though.
Unless you use Morgl ;)
Good point. the only half decent explanation for why the hell did shaman get murlocs instead of elementals.
(Of course, the current Shaman Quest would also be one of the three options)
So turn 1 play the quest
turn 2 you play Murloc Tidehunter 2 Murlocs summoned
turn 3 Tidehunter plus a 1 cost Murloc ( 5 Murlocs )
or coin into Call in the Finishers (6 Murlocs)
turn 4 you play Call in the Finishers (Quest Complete)
Turn 5 Rape!
I see how it can Highroll, but needs a bit more murloc options to be really viable T_T (plis blizz spare us of the tunnelfin)
oh I'm gonna miss the little bugger T_T . Thank you for the info
I actually think this card is pretty good. It is easy enough to get murlocs onto the field and then you are given a Fel Reaver without the negative effect instead giving you a whole hand of murlocs. Essentially this presents the possibility to be able to maintain murlocs even into the mid-late game.
imagine quest Warrior summon x Pirate for reward Z :D , pirates ready for new meta boys xD , but i think won't blizzard will never do that :D
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO , i was think the shaman quest will be summon X elemental for reward Z , i am too sad right now :(
Finley's back (The art shows him)
THEN WHY COULDN'T RENO BECOME CLASSIC?
But srs, I feel like they should at least move him to be MSoG or something so us Kabal don't have to, you know, NOT play our theme. (Reno decks)
It's a card that really empowers the archetype, and our Golden Kazakuses and Razas will become meaningless.
eh, I see so much potential in these quest cards and blizzard just gives us boring stuff like this. Sure filling your hand with murlocs is kind of cool, but what if this whole card had a much more interesting to complete quest that made murloc shaman play radically different than it would without the card? That would give people hope for the future of the game, and at the cost of what?
