Pretty sure playing elementals will be mages thing not shaman. Shaman might be play x battlecries.
It wouldn't surprise me if the strongest class got the weakest quest. I wouldnt hold my breath for something good from shamans and warriors.
In a way it's basically a 2 mana 2/4 but with 2 bodies and you can play 1 body turn 1 if you want. Definitely has synergies with elementals as it's something cheap you can play to work with elementals you play the next turn. Probably going to be a staple for elementals just because it's a bunch of elementals cost rather low.
This card actually have some handbuff synergy in paladin.

Your casual understanding of the game sickness me.
Bravissimo, Blizzard. THAT'S how you design a card.
Simple enough to be easily understandable. Alright on turn 1, alright on turn 2, flexible enough to give you options and requires skill to use in the best way possible. Synergizes with elementals but doesn't just synergize with elementals. Gives a combo enabler for rogues, fills your hand in handbuff paladin, activates Knife Juggler and Darkshire Councilman in zoo, and gives token druid more options to flood the board to prepare for Mark of the Lotus or some such. It enables interesting decks and lets the player use it however they may. Usable but not overpowered in both constructed and arena.
Blizzard may have made some mistakes in the last few expansions, but this is doing it right. Round of applause.
This card doesn't add itself into your hand. It adds a 1/2 vanilla token Flame Elemental.
He just typed "Flame Elemental" and put card brackets around it. If you're asking how he knew it gives a vanilla 2/1, I think he just read the card text. The Flame Elemental card is also shown on the blog post by Blizzard.
Bad jade golems? :)
This card plus the other elementals just released seems like the new Jade Golems. Minus, of course, the increasing stats of the Jade Golems.
The point that they want to make is you have to combo them, play 5 tokens and then a 5/25 taunt the next turn.
Imagine Ozruk (or any of these new elemental-summoning elementals) paired with Brann Bronzebeard, the combo would be insane!
and it would have no immediate board effect and possibly be removed by any hard removal. IF your opponent has no answer, might be amazing, but then again so is Deathwing and that's hardly played.
