What does he do if you play Bilefin Tidehunter, or Stone Sentinel?
Most likely it will ignore the taunts and hit the played minion
While it has some potential it is ultimately limited by the amount of control it gives to your opponents. It is extremely vulnerable to soft and hard removal, divine shield, and with adapt poisoness cards will be more common.
This card seems really good. I don't get the hate. It's a 9/9 Beast for 7 (a slot sorely lacking since Boom rotated) with a sometimes drawback, sometimes upside. There's not many minions this loses to in single combat so it's almost certainly going to be a value play when you drop him. Having your opponent play out minions just to get eaten and force a 2-for-1 or better seems okay by me. Maybe not "meta-defining" but "Very good" I'd suspect.
Also ridiculously good in arena.
THE PLAYS!
If there are cheap Adapt cards to give this immunity to spells, then it will become a top tier combo.
I really, really hope this gives a hope for hunter control decks. I mean even aggro hunters are gone from this pirate infested meta, but giving hope to a control or even midrange hunter deck gives a new hope for hearthstone to show that hunter does not necessary equal to aggro.
to expensive for smorc.
I wonder how this will interact with minions with deathrattle minions that summon a minion like Infested wolf. Will it kill the spiders as well?
It states after your opponent PLAYS a minion so it will only attack the wolf and not the spiders.
Key word, play, not summon, it doesn't.
If you call pet this out on turn 2, and play on turn 3. It will clear everything your opponent play every-turn, including those annoying taunts and at the same time hitting face consistently. In all seriousness, I hope Blizzard does try to push control Hunter harder this expansion - considering how low Hunter power-level had been and Shaman becoming the aggro class. I am betting on a Beast based heal card for Hunter though lol. Maybe Animal Husbandry or the Hunter skill from WoW - being translated into a buff that can only target beast. But for everyturn that beast live, you gain 6 health back. And maybe even give hunter a few more anti aggro traps like explosive trap to combat aggro.
Finally a use for 2 of these!
The Big List:
-All poisonous
-BGH and Atk 5+ killers
-Sylvanas
- High Atk Divine shield
-Cheap high atk, low health minions
Cheap minions won't be a good deal even if they are aggresively stated, as it will result in a huge loss in cards advantage (3-for-1 usually)
Just play Sylvanas...Kappa
Sylvanas will be removed from standard, so it can't be countered by that card In standard. In wild it can tho.
hence the "kappa"...
