if only this required less discards (like 3 or 4) so it could be played on curve, it might be as sick as rogue's quest. Sadly that won't ever happen, because Blizzard hates warlocks.
I just want you to know I had the full discardlock from KoTH and I played it 4 times, not once did clutchmother or a silverware golem get discarded. I disenchanted all the discard cards so fast.
I drew 2 legendarys this expansion: Hemet, Jungle Hunter and this card...
THANK YOU RNGESUS
Pure cancer Kappa
very very very bad
What do you guys think about summon 2 3/5 taunt imps? Still weak?
Or just discard 4 cards to complete quest?
When you look up the word Disappointment in the dictionary a picture of this shows up
So, all the discard fodder (except clutchmother) is going to rotate out next set, right?
I predict they will come out with some amazing warlock discard cards in the next set, and this card will be tier... 4
I think if they print a Wheel effect from Magic the Gathering this card goes from unplayable trash to Tier 1.
Wheel effects being "Discard your hand, draw (That many cards)/(a full hand)", take your pick. Being able to say "I don't love this hand", power through the quest, and draw something relevant would be nice.
Alternatively, a "Discard your hand and draw 2 cards" effect on a Battlecry creature.
Question for Blizzard: although they've said they don't like to buff cards, will they consider buffing some of these quests given their huge impact on the playstyles of the entire class? I'm looking at this quest and also at The Last Kaleidosaur
43$ Meta Defining, this is why Blizzard should ignore the vast majority of community's opinion.
Should we maybe think again about this one? Not the best among the quest, but this week's brawl got me the chanche to give it a try.
It's not bad as i would expect!
The quest will probably need a buff IMO, maybe making the imps 3/3 or 4/2 would do it, or even better lower the cards needed to discard, or adding another discard card for Warlock as McSssan said.
Buffing the imps wouldn't make a difference.
The problem with this quest is you are clearing it too late, at the point you play the quest reward you either already won, dead or can just play Lord Jaraxxus
It would make a slight difference if the imps spawn on the same side so you can Taunt them or use adjacent buffs.
It has more than one problem.
1. It's really, really slow to complete. Trying to get all 6 discarded by around turn 7, and then playing the card on turn 8 is really hard and burns through SO much of your deck.
2. The Imps are really weak. It's very easy for most decks to clear them every turn or simply ignore them and go for fatal by the time they're pouring out.
3. The imps always come out at the end of your turn. You can't buff the already weak imps, so most of the time you'll never get you to actually do anything with them.
4. It eats up a minimum of 3 slots to be of use on your board, so you have to always keep those open. That can be very painful for any type of Zoo deck.
It just has so many problems, I don't know if it could easily be fixed without a total redesign. Just chalk it up boys, Locks don't get a decent Legendary quest from Un'Goro.
Comparing this quest to something decent like from shaman, this ultra slow weak garbage quest isnt even worth to be rare card.Requierments should be lowered really wtf is this?
This is the worst quest by far.
This quest can be completed perfectly with Deathwing. This card doesn't have a place in aggro decks since it's slow, but control decks that include deathwing can work perfectly with it. Also, I wonder if it works with...Hemet, Jungle Hunter
