Quite good in Wild Priest. We now have a pretty nice curve between 3 and 5. Deathlord into Tortollan Shellraiser into Sludge Belcher. The effect is also quite good, Making Kabal Talonpriest quite Strong: you buff this card with 3 extra-health, it does buff Talonpriest with +1/+1. And in Wild it's quite insane when you put also Velen's Chosen on it.
Hopefully we see some buff-card for standard too.
But what people also tend for forget is Inner Fire. We need more 6+ health cards to make Divine Spirit/Inner Fire Priest viable. This card really helps on this. This and hopefully a minion that have one of these effects as a battlecry!
Very reasonable for Awaken the Makers
Certainly great with N'zoth!
I guess we were right to trust the turtle people! This card has a good Taunt body with a very positive effect, especially considering a lot of Priest minions. You get the Deathrattle effect on Northshire Cleric or Acolyte of Pain and it gives you so much value from that card, you give it to something like Kabal Talonpriest or another large-bodied minion and it turns them into something really hard to remove-but the best part is when you get to revive these things off of N'Zoth, anyone trying to clear your board is gonna have to deal with little guys who aren't so little anymore.
This card can't be judged by its value based on its stats alone but rather its synergy with the Priest quest. It's a stalling card and it gets you one step closer to the Priest quest completion.
Comparable to Bloodhoof Brave. I think this card is slightly worse.
Bloodhoof Brave doesn't have synergy with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Awaken the Makers or any cards like Power Word: Shield.
You can't heal Bloodhoof Brave. Personally I think this is better.
I'd argue both are good, balanced 4 mana taunts for the 2 biggest control classes. If the meta can reduce the effect of Jade decks (somehow), I can see Warrior and Priest back as control kings.
Really poor body. It won't be good if you're not against aggresive deck. Giving +1/+1 and has synergy with priest quest. If you ask me, i'll use Shifting Shade. Much much better than this + fills 4 mana slot.
Why not both this and shade?
you can't put 4 4-drops that win more with bad stats. Shifting shade bad, that card better in agro meta but not so good coz 2 attacks is so low now. But if we get buff like Velen chosen it's ok. But straight forward arena card.
Pretty strong card, another 4 drop for Priests!
Although this card is bad against other priests it is great when N'zoth summons it back and all of a sudden you have a taunt to protect your ass. I think this card will be under appreciated.
Just what priest needed, another 4 drop
I don't think this will be played even in death rattle priest. They already have a competitive 4 mana slot with shifting shade, which I think is better than this. The 1/1 buff would be nice but it requires you to have your 3 drop still alive. It doesn't seem outright bad, just not contructed level
.
It's better than infested Tauren so it may see play, and on turn 10 with n zorth it's good, but extremely low tempo on curve. We'll see but priest can't effort to miss turn 1(quest), turn2( priests don't have good 2 drops, and have a low tempo 4. We will see what the meta settles at but this doesn't seem great.
My Grandmother always was very protective.
And after she died one person from your family somehow became a little stronger.
Good card. Taunt makes deathrattle better IMO.
